Ok. I'm back. Sorry for super long wait. But I had a major writer's block when I was writing about Fllay. *shiver. ROFL!!! Well here's the first two chapters, if you haven't read it yet. XD
Chapter 1 =
How It all Happened.Chapter 2 =
Starting Again. Plot - Lacus was an excellent ballet dancer. But when she 'failed' one of her ballet exams, it all changed. She never danced like she did ever again. She lost all confidence in dancing. She stopped doing one of her most favourite things in the world for good.
When she saw got a ticket to watch a ballet concert, a year later, she went to see what it would be like. After watching the concert, she started to gain some of that confidence that she lost a year ago.
The school that she saw was called, 'A Dancing Heart'. She went to join in that school and met a group of dancers.
Rating - There's a bit more swearing. lolz. So I think I would rate this sort of R. ^__^" lolz
~The next day~
After school, Lacus walked towards her car to drive towards the ballet school. Before she got into the car, she saw a figure running towards her, waving at her.
“Lacus! Wait for me!” the voice called out.
Lacus looked closely to see who it was. It turned out to be Sakura.
“Hey Saku.” Lacus greeted her best friend with her nickname.
“I tried calling your cell today like 5 times. What happened?” Sakura asked, trying to catch her breath from running to catch up to Lacus.
“Really?” Lacus looked inside her bag and saw the her cell phone was on silent.
She flipped it opened and saw that she was missing 5 calls.
“Whoops. It was on silent all day today. I didn’t know that.” Lacus explained, sweatdropping.
“Right.” Sakura looked at Lacus, not believing her.
“What! It’s the truth though.” Lacus assured.
“Whatever. You can make it up by driving me to DH today.” Sakura said, getting into the passenger seat of Lacus’ car.
“DH? What’s that?” Lacus questioned.
“Uh. My dance school.” Sakura looked at Lacus weirdly.
“Really? What’s it stand for anyways? But sure. It’s on the way anyways.” Lacus turned on the CD player in her car.
“DH stands for Dancing Heart. That’s the name of my school. Lacus! You should know my school by now.” Sakura whined.
“Sorry. You know I don’t have the best memory.” Lacus laughed.
A dream is a wish your heart makes.
When you're fast asleep.
In dreams you will lose your heartaches.
Whatever you wish for, you keep.
Have faith in your dreams and someday.
Your rainbow will come smiling thru.
No matter how your heart is grieving.
If you keep on believing.
The dream that you wish will come true
“Oh. Nice beat. What song is this?” Sakura asked.
“It’s a Disney song. It’s the remake of the Cinderella song, ‘A Dream is A Wish Your Heart Makes’.” Lacus answered, starting to sing to it.
“Disney?”
“Yea. I still listen to ‘kiddy music’! It’s got a strong message too. It’s suppose to help me. The message is telling you to believe in your dreams and wishes and they’ll come true.” Lacus replied, happily.
She really liked this song. It reminded her that she had to not give up and to believe in her ballet dreams.
The rest of the way to the school was peacefully. It was around a half an hour drive to the dance school from their school. Sakura fell asleep 2 minutes after asking Lacus what song they were listening to.
Lacus drove for about 5 more minutes and then stopped at a gas station. The prices were low today for some odd reason and she was almost out of gas. She pumped the gas in and then went into the store to pay. She looked around to see if there was anything that she wanted. She was getting a bit hungry and thirsty, so she grabbed two sandwiches and two cans of Nestea. She went to the cashier and paid for everything, including the gas.
Lacus walked back to the car and got it. She threw all the food into the back except for one of the sandwiches. She opened it and took a bite out of it.
“Mmm. This is good.”
Lacus started the car and turned right onto the road. After another 20 minutes of driving, they finally arrived to DH. It was a fairly new school. Around 9 years old. Sakura had transfer to this school since she didn’t like her old one.
It was a big white building that was made of wood on the inside. It looked like one of those houses that politicians lived in.
Lacus opened her Nestea and took a sipped. She had finished her sandwich already. After drinking half her Nestea, she decided to wake Sakura up.
“Yo. We’re here.” Lacus shook Sakura a bit.
She knew that Sakura was a heavy sleeper and nothing would wake her up except for an alarm. So she decided to make an alarm to wake her up. She took out her cell phone and set it to an alarm, that would set off in 1 minute.
“5, 4, 3, 2, and…” Lacus counted.
BEEEEEEEEEEEP!
Sakura jolted up from the car seat and looked around to see where she was.
“What the heck was that?” Sakura turned to see Lacus laughing her head off, holding her cell phone.
“Oh my god. You didn’t! You woke me up with your cell phone! Lacus, you’re dead!” Sakura pounced onto Lacus but Lacus was faster and got out of the car before Sakura got her. Sakura quickly got out too and started chasing Lacus everywhere.
“Get back here! You are so dead meat Lacus Clyne!” Sakura yelled.
Lacus started running away from Sakura, when her foot started hurting. She started to slow down and then fell down onto the floor.
“Oh my god! Lacus! Are you ok?” Sakura ran over to her friend, to see if she was ok.
“You know, I don’t think you should start dance at my school just yet.” Sakura whispered. “I’m worried about your foot.”
“Sakura, I’m going to be fine. I promised mom that I wouldn’t go overboard. And now I promise you that too, ok?” Lacus held out her pinky.
Sakura also held out her pink and pinky promised with Lacus. Lacus’ promises were always kept. Sakura knew that pinky promises, to Lacus, meant they’re important and she would never break them.
Sakura helped Lacus get up and they walked back to the car. They got their bags with their ballet clothes in them. Lacus handed Sakura the sandwich and Nestea. Lacus took her own Nestea and took another sip.
“Thanks for the food. I’m starved right now.” Sakura took a big bite out of her sandwich.
“Slow down, before you start choking.” Lacus warned her.
Lacus opened the door of the school. When she walked it, she was amazed by its beauty. It was a really beautiful school. It wasn’t old like her other school. The atmosphere around here was a really nice and warm one too. There were dancers everywhere around the halls and stairs.
A girl in the corner of the main lobby stared at the pinked hair girl that just walked into her school.
‘Oh my god. It’s that pregnant girl from yesterday’ The girl thought.
“Yo, Mika. It’s the girl, I was just telling you about. The pregnant one.” The girl whispered to her friend, pointing at Lacus.
“Really? What are the odds that she’s here?” The girl called Mika asked.
The first girl just shrugged. ‘Why is there a slut like her here in my school? And she’s with that Sakura bitch too.’
The girl and Mika decided to go up to Sakura and Lacus.
Lacus was admiring her surroundings. She noticed that a girl with brown and blonde hair with a red hair girl walking her way.
Lacus nudged Sakura with her elbow. Sakura turned around and saw what she was nudging her about. Sakura started choking on her sandwich.
“I warned you.” Lacus giggled.
“Yea, I know. But you don’t know why I choked.” Sakura whispered.
Sakura rolled her eyes seeing the girl approaching them.
“Hey Sakura.” The girl with red hair greeted.
“What do you want, bitch? I’m not in the mood right now.” Sakura talked back, looking away.
“My, my, my. What harsh words coming from a ballerina. I’m not here for trouble. I just wanted to meet your new friend here.” She was looking at Lacus closely.
Lacus was getting a bad feeling about the girl. She didn’t look like a ‘friendly’ person.
“You’re not worth being introduced to my friend.” Sakura yelled at her, looking back at her with flames in her eyes.
“Fllay.” The red hair girl introduced herself anyways, holding her hand out too.
“Lacus.” Lacus saw that there was a glimpse of hatred in Fllay’s eyes already for her.
Lacus didn’t want to be rude, so she held out her hand too.
Before Lacus could shake hands with Fllay, Sakura grabbed Lacus’ hand.
“Lacus! Don’t talk to this bitch or shake hands with her. She’s not worth talking to. She’s a bitch!” Sakura yelled loudly for the entire school to hear, while dragging Lacus away.
Kira had just walked into the lobby when he saw Sakura and Lacus. Kira had overheard the last part of the ‘conversation’ between Sakura and Fllay. Kira gave a sigh and walked towards Sakura.
“Sakura!”
Sakura turned around and saw it was Kira. She stopped walking and waited for Kira to catch up with them.
“Hey big bro! What’s up?” Sakura asked, her mood becoming happier.
“Great. Hey Lacus.” Kira looked at Lacus.
Lacus just smiled at Kira.
“Anyways. What’s with you and Fllay? Again with the fighting?” Kira sighed.
“Hey! That bitch is the one who started everything. She’s such a stuck up, spoiled, little rich girl.” Sakura crossed her arms in front of her chest.
Lacus rarely saw Sakura swear like that. If she did, it meant that she was really mad and really hated Fllay.
“She’s not that bad, is she? I mean yea, I hate her guts but you seem to like want to kill her.” Kira said, nervously.
“What do you think, Kira?! She’s the one that…”Sakura was cutted off when Kira started talking.
“Wait. Tell me later ok? I have to go now. Bye.” Kira dashed away to the way he came.
“Boys.” Sakura muttered.
Lacus looked at Sakura weirdly. Sakura sensed that Lacus was looking at her and turned around to see that she was right indeed.
“What?” Sakura complained, as she started walking again.
“Hello! Care for an explaination?” Lacus asked.
“For what? I don’t think I need to explain anything.” Sakura simply stated.
“Yes, you do. There’s the whole ‘big bro’ thing with Kira. What’s that about? Plus, the whole business with Fllay! Aren’t we best friends?” Lacus asked all at once.
“Yea, we are.” Sakura put her hands on the back of her head.
“Then spit it all out.” Lacus eyed Sakura closely.
“It’s complicated.” Sakura whispered, not looking at Lacus.
“Complicated? I tell you everything about me, whether it’s complicated or not.” Lacus exclaimed.
“Well, I’ll tell you after classes ok?” Sakura gave in.
Lacus didn’t say anything and just started walking ahead.
Sakura started giving Lacus a tour of the ballet school and what every room was used for.
“And finally, this is the final room. It’s our rehearse room. It’s our biggest room in the school. We practice here when we have to perform on a stage or any other place.” Sakura explained.
“That’s the end of our tour now. Let’s go to the lobby and get you registered, ok?” Sakura asked.
Lacus just nodded at Sakura and started walking the way to the lobby.
When they got back to the lobby, they saw that Fllay was still there. Sakura just rolled her eyes and tried to stay away from Fllay. It was no use though, Fllay just came up to them herself.
“Hey bitch.” Fllay greeted, referring to Sakura.
“Are you talking to yourself? I mean like I never knew that people would greet themselves in such a negative way.” Sakura stated.
Fllay was really ticked off by what Sakura said. Before Fllay could do anything, she saw Kira coming up to them. Sakura also saw Kira coming their way.
‘Great.’ Sakura thought.
“Kira!” Fllay cried, mocking being sad.
Kira saw the three girls again, starting a fight and decided to go up to them to stop it. Kira heard Fllay call his name.
“Hey Fllay. Lacus, Sakura.” Kira greeted everyone.
Fllay latched her arm around Kira and Fllay immediately turned into an innocent looking girl.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Kira asked Fllay, referring to her arm on his.
“What? I’m just linking arms with my boyfriend.” Fllay simply stated, stressing the word ‘boyfriend’ and looking at Lacus and Sakura.
Sakura gave Fllay a disgusted look.
“Look, if you two want to get all lovey dovey on me, then go somewhere else please. NOW!” Sakura tried her best not to yell at them.
Kira looked at Sakura weirdly. “What are you talking about?”
Sakura gave Kira the same look. “What do you mean? Hello? Boyfriend! Go make out some place else.”
Sakura turned around and dragged Lacus to the counter.
“What a bitch.” Sakura whispered to Lacus.
Lacus sighed, really wanting to know what happened between Fllay and Sakura. She’s never seen Sakura this mad at someone before.
“I didn’t know that Fllay and Kira were going out.” Lacus questioned out loud.
Sakura glared at Lacus. “Never say that bitch’s name in front of me ever again.”
Lacus put her hands up in defend, “Ok, ok. Never going to mention Fl.. I mean her name ever again.” Lacus sweatdropped.
‘She’s too serious about this.’ Lacus thought
They both walked up to the counter and asked the lady for the registration form. Lacus starts filling in everything on the form. She finishes filling it in and the lady behind the counter asks how she’s going to pay. Lacus takes our her wallet and gives the lady a credit card.
‘The cost is $600 for a month. There are two classes each week which last two hours. I think I can pay for it each month if I keep on working. But then I need to get another job to pay for the house too. Mom can’t make all the money herself.’ Lacus thought about this over and over again.
“Thank you Ms. Clyne. Now all you need to do is just sign here.” The lady behind the counter gave Lacus the form and pointed to the bottom part of the form.
Lacus stares at the form for a while. ‘Should I do this? If I do, I need a new job and that’s going to make things a lot harder.’
Sakura looked at Lacus. Sakura saw the Lacus was having a mental battle with herself.
“What are you thinking of? Just sign the form already.” Sakura woke Lacus up from her thoughts.
“I don’t think I should.” Lacus whispered.
“What!” Sakura yelled a bit too loud. Everyone around them was looking at them now.
“Keep it down.” Lacus told Sakura, looking at all the people staring at them.
“Ok, ok. Sorry. But why aren’t you sure now. I mean like I would love it if you don’t take ballet again but I would also love it if you did. I don’t want you foot to start hurting again. But then again, I don’t want you to give up something you love so much.” Sakura told Lacus.
Lacus looked at Sakura and gave her a warm smile.
“Thanks. I’m not sure if I’m making the right decision right now but there’s no turning back right now.” Lacus signed the bottom of the page and handed it to the lady.
‘Yup. There’s no turning back right now.’ Lacus thought to herself, her confidence building.
