Long Long entry
Right time to update this old thing I think and there’s a fair bit to update since a lot happened this week. So I’ll have to update for several days this week (since I was too lazy to update at the time.) But before I start several things that need to be known. First off is that I’m back to working with an agency for a little while (and a very little while which will become obvious why in a short time) and at the moment they have me working as a postman so I get the fun of starting work at 7am and riding a bike around to deliver people’s mail till 1.30 in the afternoon, shitty job but I get the rest of the day to do stuff in so it all balances out to be alright. Second is that I finally decided what to do with my life. I’m going to work with animals. And so it’s off back to school to study zoology, which means a year back in college to get the right A-levels since I studied the wrong ones for zoology. Anyways after that its off to university for a 3 year course in either zoology for all animals or marine zoology since I am already a licensed scuba diver. But I have a year to pick between the two. Anyways I digress. I have to try and find a way to tell my parents all this since they always seemed to make it clear they thought university was a waste of time and money so I had no idea how they would take it especially since it meant going back to college for a year. But that comes later so you’ll just have to wait and see. Anyways that’s just the basic background that I haven’t updated with so now on to what happened during the week.
Monday
On Monday after a quiet day at work (so a nice early finish) Smit, Tosh and me decided to head down to a local cinema, star city, to see shrek 2. Now we had already seen shrek 2 but we REALLY wanted to see what the “gold class” screen was like since we had heard only good things. Anyway we get there and we buy our tickets and find out we have to pick our seats then rather than just walking in and sitting anywhere. After that we have 40 minutes to kill before the start of the film so we decide to go for a walk. Now star city has this big multi-story car park and having nothing else to do we decided to head to the top to look at the view. So we’re walking up it through the car park since we couldn’t be bothered with the stairs and its empty. All except one car on the second floor. A car with steamed up windows. A car with steamed up windows rocking slightly and with a silhouette moving around in the back. Yes that’s right we stumbled across two people “getting busy” in a car. Needless to say we all started laughing as we just walked away (though we did dare Tosh to run up to it, bang on the windows and copy little Britain then run off, but he’s reply was “if it was anywhere else I would, but its Birmingham there probably gangsters.”) Anyway after our little adventure we finally head in to see the film. Gold class kicks ASS. Lots of it. Reclining leather “lazy boy” seats, its own bar, free, yes FREE popcorn with UNLIMITED free refills. All this for £7. so yes we all decided to go gold class more often. On the way back smit managed to talk me into buying the Spiderman 2 game. Smit sucks as a conscience :P and that was Monday.
Tuesday.
Tuesday was no-where near as interesting. Get up, go to work then after riding a bike for 6 ½ hours like the muppet I am I agree to go to the gym with smit. So 61/2 hours on a bike followed by weights makes me very knackered. After the gym we just head back to Smit’s new house to chill out and cool down. See like I said, Tuesday wasn’t as interesting.
Wednesday.
Well Wednesday was certainly interesting. I found out a few interesting fact’s about myself but that comes later. Anyways after a fairly shitty day at work I have a job interview in the afternoon for one of a possibility of 3 jobs, I decide to ask about the evening job due to the whole going back to college etc. Now to this job interview I have to bring LOTS of things with me one of which was my birth certificate. Now as some of you know my parents split up when I was only a little kid and as a result I know nothing at all about my real father. So when I get given my birth certificate I see a chance to at least find out a name so I take a look. Nothing. The entire section to do with father is just blank with a line through it. I never thought I’d get so depressed just by not knowing a name I mean I hadn’t even known the guy. But still I seemed to find it depressing as hell. So for all official records I have no father. Less interesting is the fact I didn’t even exist on the records till 1988 despite being born in 1984. Anyways I head off to the interview slightly depressed still and in the interview they tell me I don’t have the experience necessary for the evening job but they have a data-crunching job during the day I can start with moving up as I get the experience. Still that’s no good but I don’t tell them that anyways off I go to Lau gar. Get knackered and that’s the end of Wednesday.
Thursday
We decided to go back to star city to see the premiere of Spiderman 2. Anyway a shitty day at work leaves me rushing off to get there in time since I finished late. And Tosh being the muppet he is decided to invite more people along without asking, even though he had already invited himself along (it was supposed to be just me and smit) so we end up having to go with Tosh and afro too. Now Afro I can just about put up with now but I still don’t like the guy. Smit however HATES Afro with a burning passion. So yeah that was fun. Unfortunately though we got there in time gold class was fully booked so we saw it in normal. A damn good film. Well unless your Tosh who hated it or Afro who just agrees with whoever asks him first (in this case Tosh.) I also found out that the agency only paid me for 4 hours of work last week so I got £30. Not good since I worked 6 hours every day from Monday- Saturday. Anyways that was Thursday.
Friday.
Went to work. Had a really shitty day at work trying to sort out wages etc special deliveries so I was running late but I got help. Anyway when I get back I finally told my parents my plans and they took it surprisingly well. Better than I thought so that’s all good despite the fact they had to force me to tell them. I was also supposed to call in a costume shop to ask about something for my costume for amecon but I didn’t get time so I’ll have to go either tomorrow or Monday and if they can’t do it then I’ll have to go back to the scary bondage lady *shudders* but meh I’ll sort that out when I get to it.
Went to Lau gar came back and now I’m about to go out and meet a few friends at the pub (and update the PF fight when I get back at about 11pm since I haven’t updated it in ages) and that is my day so far and my plans for the rest of today.
And crap that was a long entry especially for me. Anyway it has been an interesting week so don’t expect this kind of entry again since I am after all a lazy git.
