My review on JUMP 8 solo songs~

Sep 09, 2018 15:37

Okay, so here I want to give my review or opinion or whatever for Hey! Say! JUMP 8 solo songs..
Overall, I really really like all of them.. Yes, all 8 of them.. When I heard them for the first time, I just suprised on how unique they are, and I'm just like wow this one is good, no, this is good too, wait this is more good, what? I like this one too and so on haha..
All of them have captured my heart, hontou ni.. Well, they have variety of genres and I don't really know what kind of genre for each one of them since music is totally not my field of knowlegde, but all I can say is they are really fun to hear.. Usually, I would love to listen some slow or ballad kind of song, but for these 8, all of them totally can be accepted by my ears ^^
Saa, which one should I start first? Let's start with the one I listened most to..

Ryuusei no Uta by Yabu Kota

This song is soooo beautiful.. both for its music and the lyrics.. It became so perfect with Yabu's voice.. ahh I just melting over and over to the point I might be disappear .. For the lyrics which is based on what I read from sayori_story2(many2 thanks to her), the literature(?) level is so high that I can't understand or imagine some lines of them.. But from what that I can catch on, it has so beautiful meaning and gently touch my heart..

Daimei no nai monogatari by Takaki Yuya

Yuya's voice is so good and this song really potray that.. I like how the title means in english, "A story without a title", it gives some mysterious yet romantic feel (at least to me ^^' ).. The music, yes this is so my type, and together with the lyrics meaning, this really can makes me cry when listening it while I'm alone, in rainy day, plus with some unstable condition of emotion maybe? haha.. Well, I'm not saying this song is sad but I'm just having that kind of complicated emotion when listening to it which is good and I don't know, I like it by the way..

Bubble Gum by Arioka Daiki

And here it comes, my ichiban.. I cried my heart out when first time I listen to it, I don't know why!! This song supposed to be such a bright happy cheerful bubbly cute kind of song, yes it is that kind of song, but why I'm crying I can't explain it.. It gives me some kind of nostalgic, flashback, sentimental, longing for something (or maybe someone?) type of feeling and it left such a great impact to my heart.. I totally love it.. And as always, Daiki's gentle voice wrap up my heart with delighted, pleased, cheerful kind of feeling..

PINK by Yaotome Hikaru

Maji kakkoii desune.. As expected from Hikka..
The music, that bass slapped(?) sound, the melody, and ohh that broken glass sound? I really like it.. And Hikka's voice, choo ikemen.. Literally, I can imagine how Hikka together with his bass singing this song stylishly and that "Wuuu uu" part makes me go kyaa~ by myself ^^,

159 by Chinen Yuri

When I read some fan stuff about Chii's song before heard it, I wonder what he means by a song about his height, and surprisingly it is totally wrong from what I imagined.. I thought it might be some playful naughty funny song but it turned out to be pretty cool song.. I'm so surprised when I listened to it and Chii's rap part is so great.. It might dimmed up some Chii's cute features but not in a bad way.. Chii also have kakkoii features that not usually showed up and yes, this song able to express that kakkoii-ness.. And I laugh out loud when someone said now he/she become confused what Chii's height actually is ^^'

Waiting for the rain by Nakajima Yuto

At first, yeah I just get the feeling of break up from this song, but I don't know why I feel like I want to reach out my hand and dancing with Yuto (yes, I don't know how to dance by the way ==') This song have that heavy sad mood but a bit of egoist(?) or cold-hearted (ahh I don't know how to put it into words) and it fit perfectly with Yuto's image.. The lyrics is kind of sorrowful and bitter that it teared up my heart.. But still, I feel like want to dance for the music.. The gap between the meaning and the sexy(?) music of this song is what I like the most..

Jouken hansha by Inoo Kei

Umm how should I say this.. Okay, honestly I really like the music of this song.. Really really like it.. And Inoo's voice is so splendid.. But for the lyrics, this is the first time I feel glad I don't really understand Japanese language ^^' I've read the trans, but I don't get the meaning for each line but kinda get the idea as whole, and I don't want to read for the second time.. I mean, I won't let him dirty up my mind, no thanks.. I'll just enjoy the songs without knowing its content then..(am I able to?)

Do it again by Yamada Ryosuke

This song is labelled as 100% Ryosuke, so I wonder from which point it is said to be like that.. Maybe from the sexiness of its melody? Or maybe on how hot its lyrics mean? Or maybe because Yama just makes this song so him-like(?) or whatsoever, but indeed this is song that Yama would sing tho.. And like Inoo's song, once again I'm glad I can't fully understand Japanese and avoid my mind from all unnecessary imagination while listening to this.. But, it is a nice song actually..

And thats all.. Like I said before, I love all of them, and each of them have their own point to be proud of.. I'm not listing or sorting the songs here according to which I like the most or which I love the less or anything, I just write these review as it is.. Because I can't even choose which one is better than others.. All of them are great..
To Keito, we all the fans will waiting for you to finish your study patiently and get back with many solos as your own too.. Gambatte for your study.. We love you, you know that..

(cause my princes are always 9, I don't want Keito to be left aside)

Jaa, matte ne~
