So. Being out of school right now, I have a lot more free time, so I've recently discovered the wonder that are TV dramas. I always forget how much I love visual storytelling media until I come back to it

White Collar is soooo addictive you don't even know. You should have heard me bitching when I first got into it (like...two weeks ago?) because it wouldn't download fast enough. And then I went out and ordered the first season DVDs off Amazon the day after I started watching it. I've already started my second watch through. >_>
For one thing, there's an OT3 vibe from the very first episode that's practically impossible NOT to ship. Even the actors ship it, from some of the comments I've heard on interviews. (Tim DeKay, when asked how his character, Peter, feels about Neal: "I caught him, now I get to keep him.")
And I NEVER say this, especially about guys, but Matt Bomer (the actor who plays Neal Caffrey) is HOT. I could stareathimaaaaalllday,he'sTHATpretty. DAYUM, that man can rock a fedora and a skinny tie! (And that's not even getting into how he looks with his shirt off.)
And the character interaction is really good too. I love how you can see the trust develop between Peter and Neal over time and how interacting with Peter is beginning to change his outlook on life. But at the same time, they're not making Neal do a complete 180 either and have him suddenly renounce his life of crime and stay on the straight and narrow. Especially in the more recent episodes, you can really see how he's really beginning to struggle with the allure of returning to his previous life with all of its excitement and glamour and riches, versus the trust and the friendship he's built with Peter and Elizabeth and the opportunity to not have to run anymore.
I also really like the whole revenge vs. justice theme that's been going on since [SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER] at the end of season 1.
Basically, I love everything about this show and I am not ashamed to admit I am a total fangirl. XD
