Finally started Final Fantasy X-2 today, and I'm only about 9% through, but man is that game awesome.
In the very beginning, there's a dance number and then a catfight over clothes. That enough was enough to earn a seal of awesomeness, but it didn't end there.
FFX was a fashion nightmare. I respect trying to be experimental but COME ON, Spira! Tidus, Yuna, and Wakka? You guys were the worst offenders! Lulu was the best dressed, but every time I looked at her I SWORE her cleavage grew. It got to the point where I was afraid that if I looked back at her, her clothes would just fall off. But thankfully, X-2 learned from the pitfall of X. Yuna was finally introduced to the world of good fashion, but I'm afraid that the rest of Spira has yet to catch up. But I don't have to look at them. In fact, the worst dressed is Paine who actually doesn't look that bad. But yes, looking at what limited dresspheres I have so far, it just makes me want to take to the sewing machine and have some fun.
Other points of awesomeness:
Lulu talks of Yuna spreading her legs "wings", and then bends down and tells Y that she shouldn't forget who she is. There's talks and concerns over future fatherhood, the pretty cool O button, pop game show references with Issaru, and MAN does Leblanc rock it.
Leblanc is, like, my heroine. She's so ridiculous that I want to be like her when I grow up.
And I know that from reading
hinikuish's journal, I've only met a fraction of FFX-2's cast. I greatly look forward to continue with the game <3
