Regarding the Split Timeline Theory (which Twilight Princess makes very possible)... Zelda sends Link back at the end of Ocarina of Time. So what actually happens with that?

The problem with legacy games like Zelda is that there really is no set back story, probably because the original creators had no f**ing idea that it would go this far. And with the pressure to create a new game that surpasses the one before it they just say fuck it and don't even bother trying to create a story. Or they just want to cause us distress and watch fans squirm.
Another problem, is that while the original creator has had his hand in the games, the actual game producer has switched hands several times. From OoT creators to Capcom things get left out on purpose.
The actual process of creating a game is difficult and stressful, and about half of all games that get accept for platform launch get mangled by the whosoevereditor(Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo America) before it goes to Sales and Marketing. Assholes.
But, your making more sense than others. So maybe theres no harm?
Now, I am so goddamn bored and tired of cleaning! I need to get outsideoutside. Are we doing anything tomorrow?

Haha, yeah, canon sometimes contradicts itself. It's sad that there are people who seriously spend all their online time trying to find the "true" or "correct" Zelda timeline. It's pretty ridiculous.
Writing shit like this is a lot more fun xD
