(no subject)
The highlight of my month has been Kabaji-san and his children! I really enjoyed organising a tour for them and to see some of the baby animals. I even managed to get my boss to agree to letting them see and stroke the tiger cubs, so long as either I or Kabaji-san held the cubs. And I really think the kids liked it. I truly hope they did. I even arranged for a picnic and some books and other treats to be given to the children afterwards, donated by the zoo of course!
I think I'd like to do this again some time. I know many of the staff were delighted in helping the children and answering their questions on a more personal level.
I say it was a highlight though, because I fear I'm coming down with something. I'm having terrible luck with my health this month. I really hope next month is better. My throat feels scratchy and I keep coughing. I haven't been able to sleep well the last two days because it keeps me up at night. I am taking medicine for this and I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow, it was the earliest he could see me!
I just hope that it isn't anything too serious...
