((After much battling and thinking, Hoshi is finally opening commissions. Hoshi has been using money so much lately that it's getting ridiculous (plus no one will hire me for any jobs I apply to...it's really sad), not to mention expensive. So, to remedy this problem, Hoshi will make CGs for money, because that's all she's remotely good at.
Here are samples of my work
Art Sample #1: Adobe Photoshop 7.0 CG (with background) Art Sample #2: openCanvas 1.01 CG (no background) Art Sample #3: Adobe Photoshop 7.0 Cell Shading Art Sample #4: openCanvas 1.01 Black & White CG (warning: PG, a little morbid) Art Sample #5: openCanvas 1.01 Black & White CG Price information
-Black & White CG (NOT a sketch, openCanvas only) = $10 - $15, depending on the subject
-Cell Shading (Photoshop only, no background) = $15
-Cell Shading (Photoshop only, background) = $20
-CG (no background) = $25
-CG (background) = $35
-Any extra character = +$10
(Prices can be worked out, depending on the situation)
Here are the rules. Are you ready for this?
-Base price starts with one character.
-I DO NOT DRAW: Hentai, ecchi (let's keep this PG-13 or so), mecha, men with beefy muscles, realism (but you already knew that, didn't you?)
-I WILL DRAW: Original characters, fanart characters (it helps if I've seen the series), morbid, shounen-ai, shoujo-ai (again, keep it PG-13)
-I will be making simple backgrounds. I'll try to make it as good as possible, but if you want something sceneric, it'll probably end up ugly (I'm kinda bad at making scenery backgrounds from scratch). Text and borders alone do not count as backgrounds (refer to Art Sample #2). I may even let a small icon or brush to slide, depending on the situation. Anything else is a background.
-IMPORTANT! I am really, really bad at drawing males. If you want me to draw a male, especially a manly male (you know what I'm talking about) we may or may not have a problem. Contact me and we will sort this out. I may charge more, due to the time I take with non-bishie males.
-I don't make prints. I only make digital art. If you want a print, you will have to purchase it yourself (at your local Kinko's or whatever). Sorry, no traditional medium here.
-TELL ME which art program you want me to use for the characters (which means NOT the background). I can use Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and openCanvas 1.01. Some styles I can do with one program but not with the other. Refer to the info.
-Do not, do not, DO NOT show/give me an example of what you want (UNLESS I ask for it). If you do, that will mess up my brain and I will, more likely than not, be unable to finish the CG. I need freedom when I'm drawing, not to mention I have a lot of self-esteem issues, and showing me someone else's work will mess me up. However, it's okay to send me online game screenshots/sprites or character designs, especially for clothing. Do not send me things like "I want it like this, only with my character(s)."
-Give me your contact info, and if necessary, when you are usually online. When it comes to request, I need lots of communication. Also, I will contact you if there is a problem.
-This is the most important information of all. If you wish to purchase a commission, you are agreeing that you will not mind how long it will take for me to get the final product finished. I am entering my senior year in high school, and I may be skipping the beginning drama class in order to take advanced drama, meaning I have to pull my weight around.
-I will make a list of people that have requested a commission. It's first come, first serve.
Basic overview
1. You contact me with what you want. If you are e-mailing me, have the subject line say "COMMISSION REQUEST." Include: your name, contact information, how many characters you want drawn, the description of the character(s), style, art program, and any other details you want personally.
2. I will make a list of customers and the status of the commission. If I am working on your commission at the time, I will probably be contacting you a lot.
3. First come, first serve. If someone has requested something before you, you'll just have to wait.
4. I will draw your commission!
5. When I am done, or almost done, I will contact you with a preview of the image. You can ask for me to change anything, but when I mean "change," I don't want you saying "Oh the nose looks wrong, fix it," unless I personally said I don't like it either. Change as in "The color on the shirt should be a bit darker."
6. Send in your payment (PayPal only for now, sorry). When I recieve it and when I am done editting things, I will send you the final product.
All set? Great! Then e-mail me at
lunar_tenshi@hotmail.com or contact me on AIM (you will have to be on my buddy list to do this...otherwise, just e-mail me).
If there are any questions, feel free to comment here or e-mail me.))
