It's like America, but South!

Apparently what I get for watching Up and then writing about the end of the world is a dream about.... the end of South America?
Well, it was supposedly South America, anyway, but it looked like an English countryside complete with Celticy old ruins. I was there with the Refugees and my family on holiday or something. We were exploring the scenery when someone mentioned a rumor that this area was predicted to sink into the sea soon. I thought it was pretty unlikely that it would happen while we were there, but then of course there were rolling tremors in the ground. By rolling I mean the ground actually lifted up in a stretched out hump and this raised part moved like a wave.
So we figured, damn, we'd better get out of the range of this disaster. Still, it'll be fascinating to watch. We started to gather around an old stone tower beyond the edge of the doomed area, but then we heard that whoever predicted the disaster had miscalculated. The entire continent was going to sink.
We hijacked an old, unused ship and started packing. We were pretty freaked out because no one knew how to steer or navigate the ship, or if it would even run, so we were most concerned about loading enough food. But, as usually happens in escape dreams which give me enough time to pack, I suddenly had every single thing I own to choose from. "Do I need this? Will I want it in the future? Can I replace it easily? How many of these should I take? Will this be too heavy? Shouldn't I be more worried about food?" etc...
That went on for the rest of the dream.
when I woke up, I realized I hadn't packed any pants.
