unintentional prank of happenstance
This morning as I left for school, I quickly noticed two foreboding dark shapes lying in the road, a block ahead... From across the small neighborhood intersection, they resembled two canine bodies.I did have my doubts though, and my skepticism was rewarded. Garbage bags, of course.
I thought nothing more of it until after dark, when my brother and his friend came bursting into the house, jabbering wildly...
"What was that?!"
"A dog with three legs?"
"That was so scary!"
"You screamed like a girl!"
"What the hell was that?"
It looked like... a dismembered body!"
Then after I told him to go take another look, he called me a brat for ruining the thrill.
It was hilarious.
