I've taken a gillion of these things, but I still think they're interesting.
You know what pisses me off? Those "learning center" commercials
where they ask parents if their child is either lazy or "not being
challenged enough," e.g. dumb. Which brings me to a point about
myself. I get by on absoultely minimal effort, especially in
school. I haven't studied for more than 3 tests in my entire
school career. Now, I haven't exactly been making Dean's list,
nor would I care whether or not I did, but I've consitently held
average grades throughout. Would it make me any smarter to kill
myself for another 10 points on a test? Probably, but I'm smart
enough to know that doesn't really matter (to me) in the end. I'm
no genius, not at all. I'm just saying that maybe there are
better things to do with your life than have your head in a book all
day.Which brings me to ANOTHER question about myself...am I really that
interested in becoming a therapist? I really don't think
so. I think I'd rather learn psychology for everyday use with
people rather than have a paying job because of it. I'd rather
just have an average joe life and help people with their problems as
they come instead of making them pay me to solve their problems for
them. That's what's good about the future; it's open to
interpretation.
