Summary: PWP. Takes place between the double wedding 9-15 and Rafe's departure 9-16, which are both on the same very long day in Springfield.

Olivia pressed her phone to her ear while looking idly out the car window. Pasture after pasture passed by. She finally interrupted Buzz mid-sentence. "It's your wedding day. You really don't have to--"

But Emma was already eating ice cream at Company. Where she went, the rest would follow.

"Come on," Buzz said. "The Coopers take care of their own."

"Buzz--"

"No arguing."

Fingers squeezed Olivia's free hand. She spared a glance for Natalia.

"Who's arguing?" Olivia asked.

Natalia smiled.

Olivia listened to her orders and hung up. "He wants us there at three o'clock."

Natalia nodded.

Olivia rolled her head against the headrest. "I can't wait to get out of this dress." She didn't realize what she'd said until she saw Natalia's answering smirk. She curled her hand around Natalia's.

"Me either," Natalia said.

"Oh, you have it easy. Just throw that thing over your head."

"Very funny."

"I am so very."

Natalia pulled the car into the driveway and then gave Olivia a longer, appraising look. "You look good in red."

"I know you think so."

"Stop grinning and get in the house."

"Whatever you say."

* * *

They were kissing almost before they were inside. Olivia kicked the kitchen door shut.

"Smooth," Natalia said between kisses.

Olivia didn't answer, just kissed Natalia, pressing her back against the door. The weddings had been endless. Natalia's little touches and little smiles had been torment. The waiting. All her husbands and all her rivals in one place, and she'd meant to make them jealous, but she just didn't care anymore. She wanted to be home.

Natalia's tongue was in her mouth. She worked Natalia's dress up past her hips.

She said, "Maybe we should--"

But Natalia's lips were settling onto her throat. She had to give in to the feeling of Natalia wrapped around her. Natalia not letting her go. She groaned. Natalia found the zipper of her dress. If they didn't move, they were going to--

"Bedroom," Olivia said.

"Too far."

"Too far?"

Natalia pulled her close for another kiss. Arms-length had been too far. Even dancing at the wedding, Olivia's wanting had smoldered. Buzz cutting in had provided some relief, until Lillian, laughing, took Natalia into her arms. Playing along. That had been--Olivia sighed as Natalia unzipped her dress and then followed with eager, cool hands painting her back.

"The couch?" she suggested.

"I love my couch," Natalia stepped back and took Olivia's hand.

Olivia nodded amicably and let herself be led past the kitchen table into the living room.

"I've thought of this all day," Natalia said.

Olivia smiled and pivoted Natalia so that Natalia faced the mantle. She unzipped the blue dress and let it fall from Natalia's shoulders. She plucked open the bra clasp. Natalia reached for Olivia's head and brought her closer. Olivia showered kisses along her neck.

"You too?" Natalia said.

Olivia pressed against Natalia's back, bare skin to bare skin. "You're so much more beautiful out of that dress than in it."

"Olivia--"

"That's what I was thinking, the whole time. We should have stayed home."

"It was nice to see everyone."

Olivia encircled Natalia's waist.

"But you're right. Next time there's a big town wedding where our best friends in the world are getting married and everyone else is there--All our family, all the people we love--"

"No one will miss us."

"We'll just stay home?"

Olivia nodded against her neck.

Natalia turned around and cupped Olivia's cheeks. "We'll do this."

Olivia kissed her slowly and guided her to the couch, nearly tripping over her own dress. Natalia pulled her down. Olivia, mindful of Natalia's stomach, settled on her side between Natalia and the back of the couch. Natalia gave her a blissful smile. Olivia lazily brushed hair out of her eyes.

"You're here," Natalia said.

Olivia nodded, looking down her body and then back up at her face.

Natalia said, "I have to let my little boy go. But not you."

"You never have to let me go."

Natalia took Olivia's hand in hers. With Olivia watching, she kissed her fingertips, one by one. Then she brought Olivia's hand to her breast, pressing along the slope, down over her belly and then up over her heart. Olivia's breath caught. Natalia's grip tightened. This was still new for both of them, despite the days together, despite the passion that had sealed them. No more awkwardness or hesitation, but this was the first time on the couch. And tomorrow there would be another first time. And another.

"I know," Natalia said, "That as soon as you touch me, you're just... you'll consume me."

Olivia kissed her ear, and then whispered, "I could go slow."

"I don't want you to go slow."

Olivia nuzzled into her hair.

Natalia brought Olivia's hand between her thighs. "I've been waiting all morning."

Olivia found Natalia as ready as she was. She lifted her head to kiss Natalia's mouth. Natalia's free hand cupped the back of her head to bring their lips together. Olivia tried to be careful and not slow at the same time, impossible with Natalia's hands guiding her.

"Olivia."

Olivia had to break the kiss, turning her head even as Natalia pulled her hair. Her own desire was distracting her. She pushed against Natalia's hip futilely, swept up in the way Natalia moved against her.

"Please," Natalia said.

Natalia had tears in her eyes, which she shut against Olivia's intense advance. Olivia kissed her again, groaning as Natalia's tongue surged into her mouth. She half-covered Natalia's body, pushing into her, meeting her. She took what she wanted, just for a moment, caution be damned. Natalia screamed against her lips. Her fingers dug into Olivia's scalp. Her hips jerked. Settled. Then jerked again. Olivia was left bruised.

"Hold me," Natalia whispered.

Olivia shifted and moved back to her side, wrapping herself around Natalia. She tossed one leg over Natalia's. Natalia turned to face her.

"Hi," Olivia said.

"The couch. Better than the kitchen floor, I think. My back thanks us."

"You only say that because you're pregnant."

"You're probably right." Natalia smiled. She brushed a kiss against Olivia's lips and then slid to her knees on the floor. She hugged Olivia's torso. Olivia rolled onto her back. She looked at the ceiling. This is what Natalia had seen when she'd--

Natalia nuzzled her stomach. She traced idle circles on Olivia's thigh.

"Natalia."

Natalia didn't say anything. Her lips moved to Olivia's hip.

"What are you doing?"

Natalia lifted her head and squinted at Olivia.

"Don't give me that look."

Natalia tugged Olivia's leg over her shoulder. Olivia's back strained until she shifted, lying somewhat diagonally. She stuck a pillow behind her back so she could watch Natalia instead of the ceiling. Natalia's dark hair fell against her thighs. Olivia wanted to reach out. She could. She did, letting strands slip through her fingers. Natalia peeked at her, grinning, and then lowered her head.

"Oh, God," Olivia said.

She closed her eyes. Then opened them, and Natalia was still there. Her lips, her tongue. Olivia tried not to thrust against Natalia's mouth. Not yet. Natalia liked to feel her passion, to know she was responding. But not yet. She wanted to watch and feel. Natalia's tongue flicked.

"Not fair," Olivia said.

Natalia moved up to kiss Olivia's stomach and then her thigh. Olivia squirmed. Natalia met her eyes. Olivia stroked her hair.

"I thought about this too," Natalia said. "About your taste."

Olivia shivered.

"When Josh saw us walking along the beach, I thought, he's gotten to taste this, too. And I thought I should be jealous. But I'm just happy. Really, really happy, Olivia, that I get to have you. You--You are so beautiful."

Olivia held her breath. This feeling--This was the rest of her life. This was more than she had asked for. More than she deserved. Natalia ran her fingertips along wet skin, barely dipping inside her, and then she breathed in. Olivia urged Natalia's head down and thrust her hips and, in giving Natalia what she wanted, became completely undone.

They made it upstairs and into the shower together, still naked, laughing under the warm spray. They washed each other's hair. Natalia's was dripping along her cheek. Olivia reached for a wet strand.

"We have to be presentable," Natalia said, reaching for soap and loofah.

Olivia arched her eyebrows.

"You have to make an effort at being presentable."

"For you," Olivia said.

Natalia lifted the loofah to Olivia's neck. She brushed, then scrubbed, working her way down Olivia's front. Olivia faced the spray, letting the water wash away Natalia's trails of soap, not protesting as Natalia got onto her knees to wash her calves. That way lay danger. Then Natalia made her turn around and worked her way up, along the backs of her thighs, her ass, her back, her shoulders.

"Lift your arms."

Olivia obediently raised her arms and let Natalia wash them, and then her sides. Then Natalia hugged her from behind and passed her the loofah.

"Oh, I get to play now?"

Natalia hugged her tighter.

Olivia got new soap, the kind she liked to smell on Natalia's skin, and started with Natalia's hands. Natalia tickled her stomach. Olivia untangled herself and turned around, putting Natalia under the water. She washed Natalia in the same manner, but when she got to her knees with her cheek against Natalia's swollen belly, she stopped.

The whole world stopped.

Natalia touched the top of her head.

Olivia looked up. "When I had Emma, there was so much--It was a very bad time in my life. I didn't get to enjoy--" She didn't know how to explain herself to Natalia. Those lost years of her life were still lost, despite having Emma with her. Despite now. And Ava--

"Olivia. It's all right."

"No. I'm going to enjoy this. Every moment of Larissa--?"

Natalia shook her head.

"Laurel?"

Another shake.

"Layla?"

The water was cooling. Olivia gave up and said, "Thank you for not letting me miss anything. For being you."

Natalia grinned.

Olivia stood and turned off the water.

Natalia patted her hip and then slid past, planting her feet on the bath mat and reaching for a towel. Olivia followed her.

"Well, I've had sexier showers," Olivia said.

Natalia raised her eyebrows.

"I'm including ones I've taken alone. And the ones I've taken with you when I was sick and you did--that."

Natalia smirked.

"Hey, I'm serious."

"And how do you feel now?"

"I feel good."

Natalia ran her fingertips down Olivia's arm.

"Warm," Olivia said.

Natalia looked into her face.

"Clean?"

Natalia drew her in for a kiss. Warm became more important than clean. Natalia vigorously rubbed the towel against her back, but she was still turning to liquid.

"I'll be presentable later."

* * *

Olivia checked her phone one more time and then went down to the kitchen. Natalia already had bags set out and sandwiches made.

"Now that is a much better dress," Olivia said.

Natalia smiled. She gave Olivia's outfit an appraising look and then turned back to her sandwiches.

"Rafe cannot possibly need this much food."

"It's a long bus ride."

"Buzz is feeding him, you know."

"He can use these to make friends."

"Your sandwiches would make friends with anyone."

Natalia bumped her hip. But her expression was somber.

"I know you're going to miss him," Olivia said.

"I just got him back."

"It's going to be okay."

"How do you know that?"

"I have faith."

Olivia held Natalia's gaze until Natalia smiled back.
