Sleep!

My body is so screwed up right now. I have not had a full nights sleep in...I don't know how long. At times where I think I should be tired, I'm wide awake, and vice versa. I finally forced myself to stay awake all day yesterday to try and sleep at a decent time. I did as much as I could physically (without killing myself) to make myself tired. But then! I end up having to drive my Mom to the hospital, because she got stitches for a cut the other day, and now it's infected. So, it's 1am, I'm waiting in the waiting room. She finally gets looked at, at 2:30am, meanwhile I'm trying to stay awake, she's in there for 15 minutes, they give her a prescription and we're out the door.

I finally get home at 3:30ish. I have to be up at 8am, to pick up my brother and do our bi-weekly grocery shopping. I fall asleep for 2 hours, wake up and can't fall back asleep. After an hour or so of lying in bed, I decide there's no point in sleeping, because it'll be much worse, since I have to be up in an hour or so anyway. So all the way to the grocery store my eyes hurt and I feel drowsy. Do the grocery shop, get home, but of course at that point, I'm wide awake.

So now, I'm feeling tired. since it's noon, if I have a nap or something I'll probably be up all night again. So do I stay awake? Or give in? I don't know what's best! I'll probably end up giving in...

Anyway! I got FFXII. It's pretty neat. The story seems like it's going to be epic, but it reminds me a lot of Star Wars (without the Star part). The new battle system is kinda cool, but I have to admit I kinda miss the old one at the same time. You can definately tell the music is by the same guy who did FF Tactics. It's awesome. It's no Uematsu, but still awesome. ;)

The license system is kinda neat too, although I really think that if you weren't a "seasoned" gamer, you might be at a disadvantage when picking where to spend your points. At the very least, they could have included an auto learn thing (like in FF8 with the GF's), and just had each character follow the best path for their "class". They kinda give you a nudge about which direction to take each character, with their initial Licences, but at the same time, without knowing the entire board, I think it'd be difficult for the not so, RPG suavy person to know what the best route to go is. Or what would be neat, and mabye I'm just WoW biased, is to have the ability to unlearn stuff and refund your points, so that if you make a mistake early on, you can correct after learning the system better.

And that's that. I'm giving in. Screw it. I'll be up all night again, I'll do the all nighter thing tomorrow. :P
