oh im ready for it...come on bring it
so i hung out with the fam today. it was pretty much fun. i usually hang out with jeff and jenny and the kids like twice or thrice a week. lol. "miami is nice, so i'll say it thrice!" lol. you have to love rose. if you don't watch the golden girls, you have to. it's old yes, and was around the time i was born, but who cares! we love the 80s.
anyways, i hung with the entire fam today. yes, including amy and jon and their kids. that hardly ever happens. the only time i ever see logan and gretchen is when they spend the night at our house. i mean they live in laporte, and i understand it's kinda far away, but it's still nice to hang out with your family every once in a while.
i know jeff and jenny live in south bend and all and are over like pretty much every day. sunday after church. wednesdays cuz adie is over at dave's house. they're not always here wednesday's, but yeah. then randomly throughout the week. so they're here a lot. amy and jon however, never or rarely come over here. pretty much only for holidays. they didn't come for father's day. they mailed a card for mother's day. i mean it sucks. they keep to themselves. plus jon's mom and dad live like in their neighborhood, so they can see them anyfreakingtime they want. logan and gretchen are growing up and i can't see them anytime i want cuz they live like an hour away.
adie, lindy, and zach, however, like i said, i pretty much see everyday. i still do feel old though cuz adie and gretchen are gonna be in 1st grade, logan's gonna be in 4th, lindy's going to preschool, and zach, well, is gonna be a year old in a like a week or so. so yeah, i feel old, even though im 19, almost 20.
anyways, im getting off subject. but today, was a family get together sorta day. it was a lotta fun. we just played outside and had pizza and stuff. i took a ton of pictures, being the picture freak i am. photo is my thing, and i am studying it. that's a whole nother entry though. but like then we went to the park it was a lot of fun. adie wasn't with us cuz she was with dave.
see here's the story. adie is jenny's daughter. jenny had her with dave out of wedlock. they didn't get married. then jenny met jeff and they got married after like 5 or 6 months of dating. dave and jenny have joint custody of adie and he takes her every wednesday and every other weekend. then jeff and jenny had lindy and zach together. jeff also has a 16 year old son, jeffrey, from another marrige, and a 21? 22? year old daughter from a gf from high school named ashley. ive never met her.
but yeah. when we got to the park, everyone played baseball, cuz baseball is logan's (and adie's) new thing, but remember, adie wasn't with us. so they all played baseball while me, gretchen, and lindy went to the playground. ironically guess who we see there but adie and dave. how funny. so i told her everyone was over there playing baseball and i was like "ooo i wanna play" cuz you know, bball is her new thing and she's really good at it, and she's only 6! but yeah. so me, lindy and gerty played. i must have taken like 20-25 pictures. im such a photo geek. they were in b&w too. how awesome. i can't wait to get them developed!
so then we went back when my film ended...which was 75 pics, which i had other pics on there too...lol. and then played bball. i played too. i felt so...like...i dunno. awesome? like...like in "snakes on a plane" the line "oh im ready for it/come on bring it" kinda like that. but yeah. i hit it. single. then adie was on 2nd. so amy was up. she struck out and adie batted. so i stole 2nd. then stole 3rd. then stold home. YES! omg i loved it. i kinda wished i didn't quit softball. yes, i played softball. little league. im a dork.
so then we went to DQ after it got dark. it was packed because it was like 9:45 and i think they closed at 10 or something. so everyone ate their ice cream. zach was funny as usual. then these boys came in...omg. and zach was eating my mom's cone. and i was taking the paper off and he started crying so lindy comes up and gives him this huge bite of her ice cream. oh it was funny. then later adie was showing us how dave showed her how to make farting noises with her armpit. so jenny was trying to do it too. then my dad was like "have them (pointing to the cute boys) show you." so one of them tried it and couldn't so he made a sound effect with his mouth. it was funny. so then we said our goodbyes after that. we kissed we hugged we said our i love yous and good bye.
so yeah, that pretty much wraps up my day. how was yours?
