gall bladder trouble?

I've been having some ferocious stomach aches lately accompanied by lower back pain. My parents were really worried so they paid for me go to their primary care office today. I saw a Dr. Elko. She wants me to go and get an ultrasound and have blood testing to see if I have inflammation in my pancreas and liver. I wish that I'd never told her I had a gall bladder problem before, because after she heard that she seemed drawn into the diagnosis by a tracker beam. She didn't ask if the pain is related to any foods or if I have anxiety or really anything that I would have asked (as an herbalist). I understand that a lot of allopathic diagnosis tools rely on testing, but come on! She didn't if the pain is triggered by anything, or what time of day I have the pain. I think that its anxiety related and I wish she did too. I really just feel very mistrustful of most people in the medical field, I wish I could overcome this feeling, but I can't right now.
I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I mean, I can't afford this testing. And Dr. is telling me my options are most likely live with the pain or have my gall bladder taken out, which there is no way I'm going to do. No way.
