There was only one month until Chinen’s birthday. He was so excited because that year he will definitely get a gift from his love for many years, Yamada Ryosuke. Chinen fall in love with Ryosuke 2 years ago. They were friends, maybe not like best friends but at least they were friends! The first time Chinen fall in love with him was because of Ryosuke’s smile and kindness to him. After that, a year passed. At the second year, Chinen was still loving Ryosuke but less than the last year, but then Ryosuke talked to him more, hugged him and according to Yuto and Keito, Ryosuke was flirting with him. With that Chinen’s love to Ryosuke increased a lot. Then at this year Ryosuke and him were like best friends! Every morning in school Ryosuke greeted him and in the breaks they were talking a lot. ‘’This is the year!’’ That was what Chinen thought. But one day, Ryosuke broke his heart into pieces when he started a relationship with a girl one year younger than him. Chinen was so sad but he thought that if Ryosuke was happy, he would be happy too. Two months passed and Ryosuke broke up with the girl because they were having too many problems. At that time Chinen thought that it was his opportunity and that year would be easier because Ryosuke started talking to him everyday and all the time.

‘’Hi Chii~’’ - Ryosuke greeted Chinen that morning in school.

‘’Hi Ryosuke.’’ - answered Chinen with a happy face.

‘’Hey Chii, let’s go to the way home together, ok?’’ - asked Ryosuke.

‘’R-Really? O-Ok…’’

Chinen went to his class and Ryosuke did the same. At the first break they were eating some sandwiches.

‘’Chii, that looks delicious! I want some~’’ - Ryosuke pouted.

'’No, please~ Don’t make that face.’’ - Chinen was so vulnerable at Ryosuke’s face. Ryosuke pouted more and more. ‘’OK. Here is some.’’

‘’Yay! Thanks Chii~ you are the best!’’ - Chinen blushed, he was happy because of Yamada’s words to him. ‘’Hey Chii, your birthday is near, right?’’ - A big smile appeared in Chinen’s face.

‘’You remember it!’’ - Chinen wanted to hug Ryosuke with all his love at that moment.

‘’Of course! You are my friend so is my job to know it and…’’ - Ryosuke didn’t finish talking because Chinen hugged him so tight. ‘’C-Chii?’’

‘’Thank you Ryosuke. A lot of people know when my birthday is but YOU know it and that means so much for me. Thanks.’’ - Ryosuke was shocked at that statement but he hugged Chinen too.

‘’It’s ok Chii. You don’t really need to thank me. And…thank you for the hug.’’ - This last 5 words were softer than the others. And when Chinen was going to say something the bell rang telling them that it was time to go to class. At the end of the school day, Chinen was packing his stuff and then Ryosuke appeared…

‘’CHINEN YURI! It’s time to go, let’s go!’’ - shouted Ryosuke surprising the people that was still in Chinen’s classroom.

‘’I know Ryosuke! You don’t need to shout, ok?’’

‘’Ok, ok, sorry. I think I’m excited.’’ - said Ryosuke without thinking.

‘’Eh? E-Excited? W-Why?’’ - asked Chinen nervously.

‘’Eh!? No, nothing. Excited as always b-because…FOOD!’’ - Ryosuke was looking at the floor.

‘’Food?’’

‘’Y-Yes! The lunch, you know…’’

‘’Oh, yeah. You really love food, right?’’

‘’Yes, I LOVE it’’ - Ryosuke said the word ‘LOVE’ louder. Chinen finished packing his stuff and they went home together.

‘’Chii.’’

‘’Uhm?’’

‘’What do you want for your birthday?’’ - Ryosuke asked making Chinen smile.

‘’I want a present, of course.’’

‘’Chii, I know that~ But what do you want as a present?’’

‘’A lot of things, you know. I’ll tell you the day of my birthday, so we can go together and buy it, is it ok?’’ - suggested Chinen.

‘’Yeah, perfect. I will do anything for you, Chii.’’ - Ryosuke smiled at Chinen and that made Chinen blush. Minutes later they arrived at Chinen’s house.

‘’Ok Chii, I need to go now. Take care, bye~’’ - Ryosuke waved to Chinen and left him knocking the door of his house.

The days passed and there was only 1 day left to Chinen’s birthday. Ryosuke was excited about Chinen’s birthday, even more than Chinen. He wanted to give Chinen the best present ever that’s why he told Chinen to tell him what he wanted.

‘’Chii, tomorrow is your birthday. Aren’t you excited?’’ - asked Ryosuke happily.

‘’I am. But I think that you are more excited than me. Am I wrong?’’ - Chinen laughed because of the notorious excitement on Ryosuke’s face.

‘’Well, actually yes. I’m so excited and I don’t know why. Have you decided what do you want?’’

‘’N-Not yet. But I will tell you tomorrow, d-don’t worry.’’ - Chinen said trying to look normal. He had a plan since the beginning. A present that he will never forget.

‘’Ok, ok. I will wait. I want to give you something that make you happy. Decide well~’’

‘’Un, thanks Ryosuke.’’ - he smiled.

That day of school passed and Chinen was laying on his bed thinking how and where he could asked Ryosuke about his present. ‘’Ok, I can do it. This year is the last one and also my last chance. He is my friend so I think he wouldn’t get mad…I hope. You can do it Chinen Yuri!’’. The next morning Ryosuke was waiting for Chinen outside his house.

‘’Chinen Yuri, Happy Birthday!’’ - shouted Ryosuke with a box of chocolates in his hands. ‘’This is for you. This isn’t your official present but I wanted to give it to you’’

‘’R-Ryosuke…’’ - Chinen hugged Ryosuke and the box of chocolates felt down on the street. ‘’Thanks for all Ryosuke. Thanks for the box of chocolates. Thanks for picking me up. Thanks for being so nice to me. Thanks for…existing’’ - Chinen was about to cry.

‘’C-Chii…’’ - Ryosuke was all red and shocked because of Chinen’s words. ‘’I told you that you don’t need to tha…’’

‘’I know what I want as a present.’’

‘’Eh?’’

‘’I know exactly what I want from you. I’ve been thinking on that. And I’ve decided.’’

‘’Understood.’’ - said Ryosuke smiling. ‘’Let’s go after school, ok?’’

‘’Perfect, thanks Ryosuke.’’

The day was normal in Ryosuke’s class but in Chinen’s class all his classmates greeted him and sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to him. Some of them gave him presents. He was really happy that day and was waiting for Ryosuke’s present. That would be perfect. The classes passed so slow for Chinen and so fast for Ryosuke. But the end of school finally came.

‘’Chii, today is Friday~ No homework, we don’t need to study, we have all day to celebrate your birthday! Let’s go somewhere. You decide.’’ - Ryosuke was still excited.

‘’You are right! We have all day! YAY! Ok, so let’s go to…I don’t know. Let’s walk and then we can decide.’’

‘’Ok. Are you ready?’’

‘’Yes!’’ - Chinen was nervous but happy after all the day. Both of them walked together but Chinen was silent. He was thinking where they can go and where they can make the plan.

‘’Is everything ok?’’ - asked a worried Ryosuke.

‘’Yes, don’ worry. I’m just t-thinking.’’

‘’Thinking? In what? Maybe, the present?’’

‘’Well, yes. I’m thinking on that.’’

‘’Haven’t you decided yet?!’’

‘’I’ve decided! B-But…’’

‘’But?’’

‘’You will know it later, just wait Ryosuke~’’

‘’Ok, ok. After all I will give it to you.’’ - Ryosuke laughed. They went near an ice-cream store. ‘’Do you want some ice-cream?’’

‘’Yeeees!’’ - Chinen got happy after listening Ryosuke’s invitation.

Ryosuke ate a strawberry ice-cream and Chinen a vanilla one.

‘’It’s delicious Ryosuke, thanks.’’

‘’As always you are thanking me. You look like my girlfriend!’’ - joked Ryosuke.

‘’Y-Your girlfriend?’’

‘’Yes, you are always thanking me and hugging me and I’m inviting and giving you things as well.’’

‘’B-But why am I the girlfriend?’’ - asked Chinen pouting.

‘’Because you suit that role.’’

‘’I want to be the BOYfriend, not the GIRLfriend, you know.’’

‘’But you are so cute as a girl and you are shorter than me.’’

‘’Ehhh? You are 5cm taller than me! That’s all!’’

‘’Yes, but I’m taller than you anyway.’’ - Ryosuke laughed so hard at Chinen’s behavior.

‘’It’s not fair~ And don’t laugh at me, remember that you need to be good to me today because it’s my birthday.’’

‘’Oh yes, sorry Chinen. It’s just that we were like fighting about who is the boyfriend and girlfriend and we aren’t that.’’

‘’Yeah, that’s true. But it would be ok if we are a couple, you know.’’

‘’What?’’ A-A real c-couple?’’ - Ryosuke blushed.

‘’Ryosuke you are red!’’ - now it was Chinen who was laughing so hard. ‘’I didn’t mean it, sorry but hahaha’’

‘’That wasn’t funny, Chii!’’ - Ryosuke was still red.

‘’Ok, ok. Sorry haha. Where can we go now?’’

‘’Do you want to go to the park? Let’s take a rest there.’’

‘’Ok!’’ - They walked to the park near the ice-cream store. There was too many people. ‘’Wahh, there’s too many people here!’’

‘’Do you want to go to another place?’’

‘’No, no. Let’s find a calm side in the park.’’ - Both of them walked until they find a not crowded side of the park. They sat under the shadow of a big tree.

‘’I love this~’’ - said Chinen closing his eyes.

‘’Yeah, me too. This is so calming, right?’’

‘’Yes, I want to be here forever…with you.’’

‘’W-With me?’’ - Ryosuke blushed again.

‘’Yes, with you. You are important to me and I want to be here with you FOREVER.’’

‘’Uhm..t-thanks Chii…uhm..Y-YES! You told me that you have decided your present, right? Ok, tell me now.’’

‘’Are you sure that you really want to know what I want?’’

‘’Of course! I will give it to you no matter what!’’ - Ryosuke smiled and Chinen too.

‘’Ok.’’ - Chinen started getting near Ryosuke and then he talked in his ear. ‘’This is what I want.’’ - After he said that he touched Ryosuke’s lips and then he kissed them. Chinen closed his eyes while Ryosuke’s eyes widen. Chinen didn’t move. He was only making contact with Ryosuke’s lips for the first time. Some seconds later Chinen was breaking the kiss but Ryosuke didn’t let him and put one hand on Chinen’s neck continuing the kiss. Now Chinen’s eyes widen while Ryosuke was closing his. Ryosuke started licking the lower lip of Chinen to let his tongue enter his now hot cavern. They were kissing passionate until the lack of air broke the kiss. They were silent for some seconds.

‘’Was this what you wanted as a birthday present?’’ - asked Ryosuke.

‘’Y-Yes…and I’m the happiest person in the whole world, thanks aga…’’ - Ryosuke hugged Chinen. ‘’Ryo..su..ke?’’

‘’I wanted this too Chii!’’ - confessed Ryosuke.

‘’W-What?’’

‘’I’m also the happiest person in the world. I love you Chii, I really love you. I’ve wanted to do this a long time ago but I couldn’t. I didn’t know that you wanted this so much as me. And now you kissed me and when I realized that you were returning my feelings I kissed you back. I’ve never said this before but…You are all for me Chinen Yuri.’’

‘’Ryosuke..’’ - Chinen started to cry.

‘’No, Chii, don’t cry please. I’m sorry.’’

‘’I’m not crying because you did something wrong. This are called happy tears. I’m so happy that you return my feelings too. I didn’t expect that kiss from you. I was thinking on this but I was hesitating because I didn’t know how would you react of it you would hate me. But I really love you and I wanted this so much. Than..’’ - Ryosuke kissed Chinen again full on the lips.

‘’I will kiss you everytime you thank me.’’ - both of them laughed.

‘’So, I will thank you everyday~’’

‘’You really like my kisses, don’t you?’’ - teased Ryosuke.

‘’No, that’s not true.’’ - Chinen pouted. ‘’Actually I love them. They taste like strawberry~ I’m starting to love strawberries as well.’’

‘’Oh God, don’t say that…Yuri.’’

‘’Y-Yuri?’’ - Chinen was shocked.

‘’I want to call you like that since today.’’

‘’T-That means that…’’

‘’Chii, do you want to be my boyfriend?’’ - asked Ryosuke.

‘’Yes, Ryosuke. I want to be yours forever~’’ - Chinen hugged Ryosuke and Ryosuke did the same. ‘’And you know, I’m the boyfriend! So you are the girl in this relationship!’’ - Chinen laughed.

‘’Ehh? But you look like a girl, not me~ I’m going to ask you again haha, do you want to be my girlfriend?’’

‘’No. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER. I want to be the the boyfriend and that’s all!’’ - Chinen started running and Ryosuke ran after him.

‘’That’s not fair~~’’ - They started running and running happily until they got tired.
