Does anyone know if CLAMP has ever drawn geisha? I know they've drawn lots of people in kimono but that's not what I mean. Color would be best but whatever. They MUST have at some point but I'm blanking. Image links would be great, too ( Read more... )

...dang it, I know I have examples of ALL of those (the geishas for both artists, the sailor tattoos, the CLAMP kimono stuff) but it's all at home at I don't know if I'll be home this weekend and I can't remember off the top of my head what the titles and whatnot are!!!

Ugh. If I get home at some point, I'll get the info.

AWESOME thanks! I figure it all EXISTS and I thought you'd be one of the people that would have some of it. XD It's really not urgent, this is a long-term project, but I was just planning ahead. :D

Oh, whew. Yeah, because I have a book Amano illustrated with geisha in it, a couple of examples with CLAMP, plenty of the kimono stuff from a book I got as a gift (but again, forgot the name, ack!), and then my dad's old bedroom at my grandma's house has his old books in it and one of those is a bunch of old sailor tattoos that I used to look at before bed. They're odd...really butch and scary but at the same time so BORING. But cool to look at!

I dunno if the snow woman one would count? I'm also sure at least ONE world in Tsubasa has to have Geisha but....

I think I just saw a geisha tatt on a sailor jerry site. There's an official one and check out the gallery!

I used to be a manga freak in my high school days, I *do* know that they've at least drawn some geisha. Tsubasa, I've seen some... I'm not too wholly sure about XXXHolic (if it's Clamp or not, haha, I'd just read everything and not pay atttention to the publisher)...

I'm not too much help here. :/ I hope you find what you want, though!

I'm not sure, but I think there are a couple of geishas somewhere in 'Yumeragi' and in 'Tokio Babylon'. Maybe you should check deviantart.com, if I remember correctly there are tons of geisha pics there.
