What if Michael wasn't able to stop Brian from blowing up their high school? AU from that point, takes place in "present day." You might be confused at first, answers will come as the story develops.
AN: Part 2, and more details come to light.

Brian opened his eyes. The first thing he saw was the ceiling. He licked his lips, feeling how sore and chapped they felt. He blinked his eyes again, feeling how tired and puffy they were. He rubbed his fingertips together, and felt how sticky they must have been.

So it wasn’t a dream.

He arched his back and let out a long sigh. He’d kick out the trick and forget about the whole, weirdly intense night. He’d just needed a fuck, and the guy was hot, and that’s all there was to it.

The phone began to rang, and Brian ignored it. He rolled his head to the side, and then his chest clenched and his heart raced.

Big, brown eyes stared at him. The man, although he seemed more like a boy with eyes like that, opened his mouth, then shut it.

Brian let his gaze slide down the man’s body, noting every scratch mark and bite. His dick swelled beneath the sheets. Okay, maybe he would fuck him again, once more, and then kick him out.

The answering machine beeped as the ringing ended.

Brian licked his lips, then slid his hand under the covers, and rested it on the curve of the man’s hip. He slid closer, smirking when the man’s face flushed and his eyes widened even more. Brian pressed his lips to the other man’s again, and felt his dick throb and his mouth water. There was something familiar about him, something he still couldn’t place.

Maybe it was his shampoo, or cologne, except Brian hadn’t smelled anything scented on him.

“Mr. Kinney, I’m just calling to remind you of your scheduled meeting at-”

“Kinney?” the man squeaked, jerking back.

Brian drew his tongue back into his own mouth, annoyed. “I told you, names ruin-”

“Kinney what?” the man choked out. He sat up suddenly, jerking the covers up to hide most of his body. His skin paled and his eyes began to water. “Kinney WHAT?” he shouted.

“Christ, you’re a drama queen,” Brian muttered. He sat back and sighed, getting up. “I’m taking a shower.”

The man’s hand grabbed him, and Brian froze, turning to look at the man who stared at him as if he’d seen a ghost.

“Kinney what?” he whispered, his nails digging into Brian’s wrist.

Brian’s heart pounded in his chest. He jerked his wrist from the man and swallowed down another rush of familiarity. He opened his mouth to respond, then shook his head. “Just go.”

“Tell me!” the man shouted. He stood up from the bed, letting the sheets fall to the floor in a silky pile. He stepped out of them, walking towards Brian.

“I don’t have to tell you shit!” Brian spat, backing up a step. Suddenly, he was cornered. He wanted this guy gone, and he wanted him gone now.

“Yes you do, Brian!” the man shouted.

Silence filled the air, except for the sound of two men breathing heavily.

“How the fuck do you know my name?” Brian growled. Goosebumps rose up on his arms and legs.

The man’s eyes began to fill with tears. He wobbled, blinking hard. “Brian Kinney?”

“Yes, I’m Brian Fucking Kinney! So what?” Brian narrowed his eyes. “Jesus, you probably just know about me because of my business, right? So what’s the big deal?”

“I thought you were dead,” the man whispered. “I thought...” The color drained from his face.

Brian frowned, feeling his entire body tense, each muscle ready for flight. “Who are you?”

“I’m...” the man whispered. He blinked, and tears spilled down his cheeks. “I’m Michael.”

The answering machine beeped, and the black-haired man collapsed to the floor in a faint.

“Fuck,” Brian cussed. “Now what?”
