Do not call someone when ...

Monday. A day the same as any boring Mondays for those of us with obligations and not born with a silver spoon. Me and my colleague arrived at the building where my client's office was located. We were to meet the client on the second floor and the doors to the office required the staff pass so I called the manager to inform her of our arrival. To which she replied she will meet us at the lobby in 15 minutes' time. We were kind of early.

And so, we went up and waited. One of the manager's colleague, also attending the meeting, arrived at the reception area and led us into the office. Once in the meeting room, I thought it would be a good idea inform the manager that we were already in there so I called her.

The conversation went something like this.
 Ring Ring Ring Ring
"Hello, Jake."
"Hello, xxxx."
"Are you at the reception area?"
"Oh no, I am already in the meeting room. I just called you to ... "
"Huh? Then 你打给我做么?", she interrupted me. Her voice sounding more surround sound than it should over the phone.
I looked over to my left and past two of her colleagues, there she was standing and looking at me incredulously.

Opps. What a boo boo. -_-"
