Canada, eh
It's the first week of school, and I have no classes- strange. Instead of class, I have some training to complete in two weeks, it's called DBO.
Oh, more exacting news- I went to Canada with some people from work to learn about coring. Coring is where people drill, but collect rock samples as the rig drills. There are all kinds of different parts, and we went to learn how everything (mostly everything goes together). That trip was fun except for the 3 hour lay over on the way home. The flight was only three hours, so by the time we took off it should have been the time we arrived back home. My manager has a bad sense of direction (admittedly)- so the first night we found our selves going through Beaumont before finding Edmonton. Oh, Edmonton mall is big- the mall has a casino, water park, theme park (with at least 2 roller coasters), mini-golf, seal show, pirate show, bumper boats, ice rink, and a bourbon street. Walking around the mall with a couple people we found a bubble tea place and I made a fool of myself by squealing, "Bubble tea!" apparently the people in place all looked at me- according to my co-worker. I could care less about people looking at me- I was having good time.
