Sage, Rosemarry and Thyme
First weekend back in SA, and I've had a few things happen already.
I had dinner with Sean and the mysterious Rosemary, we went to Mamacitas. I enjoyed the dinner complete with margaritas. I found out more about this very nice young lady, that just some happens to have my brother in the palm of her hand. He's in good hands with her. The next day we went to splash town- fun! I went on most of the slides. I finally screamed on a ride, and who ever told me screaming makes the ride more fun was right. I guess I had to let go of control and just let the ride take me. The other slides were not as "bad" after the first one. I really had a good time with Sean and Rosemary. I think Mom and Dad will like her, she has nothing to worry about.
I spent the rest of my weekend talking on the phone for four hours, and then watching Red vs. Blue (oh so funny). I made lasagna with Linh and Jeff- that's good too, and watched more red vs. blue. I cleaned up my room some, along with the living room and the kitchen floor. I saw Megan clean the bathroom, and we even got some of the ice cream moochi. Plus, she had some stuff to vent about. My only reply to her venting is family is supposed to help you out with stuff, especially if you are dependent upon them. Ugh... I just don't understand some of her family’s logic sometimes.
So basically, I've been trying to hang around people as much as possible to the point at which I feel like I am clinging to them. Why am I doing that? Is it just getting adjusted to the non-parent house, and not being huddled together with people talking, plus I have no homework / work I need to do. I made lasagna, so I could go to the store and then have to make something! Maybe I should get better at cleaning, so I can make this place sparkle, until schoolwork consumes me again.
