(no subject)
Ok, I have officially decided that I need a boyfriend. Shocking, yes, but I think it's true...
Too bad I have such high expectations....^^;;
In other news, I saw Les Mis tonight... and I must say, watching it from an actor's and a costumer's point of view, I was sadly disappointed... Oh, don't get me wrong - the actors did a spectacular job with what they were given. Yes, the actors... the non-actors, on the other hand... well, that's a slightly different story. They... didn't do so hot. from a bunch of the costumes (they even had a 70's/80's style pink and grey suit-jacket up there - totally out of period, and stuck out like a sore thumb... that actor must have really pissed of the costumer, the poor thing), to the casting itself (mainly looks... talent was great [besides the fact that Fauntine needed a more powerful voice], but Jean Val Jean's face looked like a hun from Mongolia, Fauntine reminded me of Dave Lister from Red Dwarf, and the Priest was Riff-Raff with shorter hair, among other things), even a lot of the blocking (NO BREAKING THE FOURTH WALL!!! God, that was annoying...). It was kinda hard to get into it. I did cry in the end, though, which helped save the experience for me, so that's good.
Anyhoo, gotta get going...
