Chinen sat on the corner of the dressing room, sulking. It was just moments ago that Ryutaro broke up with him because of another fight. It wasn't even a significant argument yet it was the biggest one that they had; since it led to a break-up.
He sat there, reminiscing those times where he and Ryu would more than often fight about things even more meaningful than this one. He remembered the time when he played a prank on Ryu that made the latter so mad because he told Ryu that his new hamster, was flushed down the toilet. Ryutaro became so mad that he didn’t speak to Chinen the whole day. Yet Chii was able to touch into Ryu’s soft side.
If only he would be given the chance to put things back to normal, he’d probably do anything; anything just to have his Ryu back. A small drop of tear flushed from his now bloodshot eyes and flowed towards his cheeks, making a wet trail of agony.
He was so engrossed in his sulking that he didn’t even mind the slamming of the door. He heard a series of footsteps which he still ignored. Chii wouldn’t care enough who the hell that person was or will be, if he’ll sulk, he’ll sulk.
Chii was in the middle of his emotional rush when a hand lay on his shoulder and another offering him a white handkerchief. He looked-up and his eyes met a pair of auburn eyes, almost smiling. It took him a couple of seconds more before he realized that it was Ryosuke. The puffy-faced boy smiled even more, though his worry for the shorter boy rose.
“Why are you sad Chii?” He asked in a concerned tone, his smile almost fading.
“It’s nothing.” He wiped the pending tear away.
“C’mon Chii. You can tell me.” his voice was firm yet gentle.
“Yama-chan. I.. Ryu.. he.. broke.. up.. with.. me..” Chinen said between sobs.
Ryosuke sniggered. Chinen glared at him.
“Sorry~” he took Chinen by the shoulders and gave him a hug.
“Ya~” he tried to speak, but thought that this moment be not distracted. Yamada’s chest was soon wet with the shorter boy’s tears.
“Cry it out Chii. It’s okay. It may not be okay now, but I will be, someday.” Ryosuke’s words weren’t much but it somehow made Chinen feel better.
They stayed in that position for quite some time before Chinen finally spoke.
“Why~” he hesitated.
“What is it?”
“Why can’t it just be you and me?” hot blood flushed to his face with what he just said.
“Chii~” Ryosuke whispered.
“Uhm~ you don’t have to answer that. Gomen.”
“No, I’m sorry. Let’s just be friends now. Or Daichan’s gonna kill me.” He giggled.
Chinen was shocked but still managed to laugh. It was okay for him to hear that. He was happy for Ryosuke and Daiki. And now, he must find a way to find his own happiness too.
