A/N: I’ve written this ‘thing’ last February of 2009. Hahaha! Now I’ve decided to make it a fic. Not very nice since I don’t write so well before. Hehe. Written in Ryosuke’s POV. To whoever can make me a KamiYamaShi icon, i♥u and I’ll take a request? Anyone please? Hehehe.
It had been a long time since I’ve seen her. Maybe it had been about 3 years since we last had the chance to talk. It wasn’t really a nice sight. She cried as we parted. We decided to end our relationship, but I was still in love with her.
She was sitting in a popular coffee shop when I passed by. My heart almost leapt by then. I took the chance to speak with her again, to catch up with what’s been happening in her life. I greeted her, she looked surprised in seeing me again; or was she rather upset? We had a short chat. We talked about a bit of ourselves.
As I stared into her eyes as she was talking. They were the same dark eyes that could make any man be attracted to her. But there was an edge in it now. It had a more vibrant glow now than before, it made her even more beautiful. Her once pale skin now had a reddish glow and her perfectly carved lips, the one I’ve missed for so long, were as perfectly red as they were before. I still feel for her.
I let her talk most of the time. It was sufficient enough for me to hear her voice. I thought I would go crazy when her voice haunted me for so long after our break up. And hearing it now was like music to my ears. I felt like I was a deaf person, hearing sound for the very first time in my life.
After a few minutes, she stood up and kissed the guy that just arrived, carrying with him a baby. So that was it. She was married. She introduced me to her husband. I didn’t really gazed at her husband. They seemed happy. I bade her goodbye and went off.
I didn’t expect to see her married, let alone have a child. But it was reality; and it really knows how to devastate the hopes you’d once have. It was supposed to be me that was her husband, the father of her children and the love of her life. But it had all turned to rubble. My heart was once again broken apart into pieces. She was the love of my life, but everything between us is now merely a memory.
