A/N: I wrote this because I think I can. LOLs. Inspired by the song ‘Gemini’ by Sponge Cola. My favorite song from one of my favorite bands.

Come a little closer, flicker in flight…
She lay quietly on her bed, wishing the night would be less miserable than she was. She sighed as her gaze met the moon’s mystifying beauty. The more beautiful stars around it were a blur to her vision, for she was intently watching only the moon. A tiny glint of light winked its way across the gray skies, making her gasp in excitement. She wished for companion, to that lone shooting star, that someone would come for her.
The vacuous night steps aside to give meaning to Gemini’s dreaming…
She opened her eyes to find another brown pair staring down at her with softness. She has been calmed down by those beautiful eyes, captivated at the most. Her eyes fluttered, hesitantly blinking the possibility that it may be a dream. But he was still there. His mouth twitched to a smile which sent a whiplash of emotions rushing throughout her system.
I can breathe in what you breathe out…
The past nights had been more than euphoric for her. She constantly waited for him to come through the window, like how Romeo was to his Juliet. He sat at the edge of her bed, looking up to where her eyes were fixed. He leaned over and gave her a kiss. She was left hanging but all he did was chuckle. A cold touch moved across her waiting lips as he muttered sweet nothings to her. It made her giddy inside, like a million butterflies flailing their wings in a confined space.
The moon on its back and the seemingly veiled room’s lit by the same star…
She was in tears, her hair all tangled up and sticky. It was not because he didn’t come tonight. He was still on the same spot where he sits every night. He clenched his jaws. Seeing her like that was breaking his heart. She hugged her knees close to her chest as more of the tears flowed. The gray colors beneath her eyes became more vivid in the dark, making her look older than she was. He stood up and closed the curtains, leaving only the glowing aura of his eyes and the pastel color of his skin that kept her ambience a little less dismal.
Let me know if dreams can come true, let me know if this one’s yours too…
She lay on her bed, half the sheets covering her body. Her skin was ashen, lips pallid, and eyes horrid. Every passing minute she became weaker, as if the life was being drained out of her body. She opened her mouth to speak, to argue with the fuming person she loves in front of her. He abruptly stopped pacing from across the room and looked at her with disdain. He couldn’t believe her decision. He would change things for her, all for the better but she opposed. All she did was smile in her grim appearance, a ray of moonlight washing her face with a silvery glow. She sighed, looking up at the stars. They were beautiful tonight, just like the person she loves. She winked… and then she winked no more. He sat by her side, muttered a soft phrase containing the sweetest words. But she couldn’t hear. She wouldn’t hear, not because she doesn’t want to but she just can’t. He traced a light finger across her face. A drop of tear fell on her cheeks from those beautiful brown eyes; the eyes that once and always had captivated her.
