A/N: YamaShi as always :)) Anyways, enjoy on reading this and tell me what you think. Unbeta-ed so there may be errors (grammatical or typos).
It was another ordinary day at school for Shida Mirai, or so she thinks.
One
It was fifteen minutes past 7 in the morning. The teacher has not arrived yet so Mirai was busy fidgeting over her notebook. Yuto and Suzuka were also busy doing their assignment together. Yuri was with the other boys of the class and showing them a picture of him and Umika. Well, it was more like they were taking Yuri's phone as the small boy reached for it. Ryosuke was, well, nowhere to be seen.
Minutes passed and a hasty shuffling of footsteps was heard. It was then followed by a loud thud that made Mirai look up. Ryosuke was on the floor, in front of her, trying to get up as their other classmates peered over.
“Yamachan, are you okay?” she asked.
The young boy got up and frowned. “Do you have a band-aid? Because I just scraped my knee falling for you.”
Mirai gaped and a couple of face palms were heard.
Two
In between their classes, the young idols went into a short break. Mirai took out the chicken sandwich from her bag and began eating.
“That stupid Yamachan…” Mirai grumbled in between her bites.
“Hey.” Suzuka called out.
“Su-chan…” she smiled.
“Looks like Yamachan got you earlier, eh?” Suzuka chuckled.
“Shut up. That boy is an idiot. It looked more like you had a good time with Yuto-kun earlier too.” Mirai teased back.
“I’m sorry, were you talking to me?” Ryosuke inserted from out of nowhere.
Mirai stare before she answered, “No.”
“Well then, would you like to?” he happily beamed and took a sit at a chair next to her.
Mirai groaned and walked away with Suzuka, the latter letting out a loud giggle.
Three
Lunch break came. Mirai hoped that Ryosuke would stop with his weirdness because it half-freaked her out. The other half was, as expected, flailing. She ate with Suzuka, Umika and the other girls from their class.
“Mirai-” Suzuka started.
“Do not finish your statement if it would be about that imbecile or I swear I’ll tell the whole world of what you and Yuto did last Christmas.” Mirai said through gritted teeth.
The said girl blushed and dropped her head as the other girls asked her about it. Mirai got up and walked to the cafeteria counters. On her way there, Ryosuke stood by a table and was smiling at her. She sighed and walked past him. The boy grabbed her by the wrist and looked confused.
“Excuse me, are you lost?”
“Huh?!”
“Because you know, heaven is a long way from here.”
Mirai shook her hand off and rolled her eyes.
Four
Mirai was more or less pissed off because of what was happening the whole day. Ryosuke was acting weird, not that it was something unordinary of the young man, but pick-up lines were a bit off his frame of work.
Mirai decided to go to the bookstore before going into their next class. She needed to buy a couple of school supplies and she just had about 10 minutes for it. She quickly went from one shelf to another and grabbed the books and other things she needed to buy.
As she approached the last aisle, Ryosuke popped out of nowhere. Mirai yelped but then covered her mouth with her hands.
“Yamachan! Stop following me around! And don’t jump in front of me!” her eyebrows were constantly raised as she fumed on the boy.
“Sorry.” he grinned. He then stared into her eyes.
“Eh? What’s wrong? Is there something in my face?”
“No. Uhm, do you have a map?”
“No, why?”
“Because I just keep getting lost in your eyes.” Ryosuke said, squinting his eyes and flashing a bright smile.
Mirai stormed out of the store as the bell rang for the next class.
Five
“I really had enough of that moron! What is his problem Yuri, Yuto?” Mirai screamed at Ryosuke’s friends.
“Hey, don’t shout at my boyfriend’s ear!” Umika elbowed Mirai, laughing hysterically as Yuri blushed.
“Mirai, we don’t know what’s wrong with him. He does act weird today.” Yuto said.
“Please tell him to stop or I’ll murder him.” Mirai glared at them, making them freeze from where they stood.
The whole afternoon went well that Ryosuke didn’t mind Mirai that much. The girl was relieved and sad at the same time. It was irritating yes, but the boy’s cuteness as he delivered those lame pick-up lines were much too precious to be missed.
In their arts subject, Ryosuke was nowhere to be found. Yuto and Yuri phoned him but there was no answer to the call. They went on with their bonsai projects. Someone tapped Mirai on the shoulder and she immediately looked back.
“Yamachan!” she exclaimed.
“Hi.” He smiled.
“Where have you been? Yuto and Yuri were calling but they can’t contact you.”
“Oh, that. I was outside. I was looking for this.” He showed her a red rose that was in full bloom.
“It’s beautiful! What is that for?” Mirai asked.
Ryosuke smiled and said, “For show. I just wanted to show this rose how incredibly beautiful you are!”
Mirai blushed as several of their classmates cooed at them.

During dismissal, Mirai walked home. Ryosuke followed her. They were alone.
“Hey, mind if I take you home?”
She smiled softly, the one that made Ryosuke feel so comfortable. Then she asked.
“Where the hell did you get those lame pick-up lines?”
“Lame?” there was a hint of disappointment in his voice.
She chuckled. “Fine, some were lame. But they are sort of sweet. However, Yamachan, you should stop doing this. We might get expelled.”
“If I would quit this, then it would be the same as you’re telling my heart to stop beating.” He said.
“Yamachan, you idiot…”
“Yeah, at least I'm your idiot…”
