I've spent most of today trying to get files transferred to my new computer from my old one. For some reason, our network is throttled at 30K/sec and it'll take 8 days to move my Outlook info. My connection to the 'Net in general is much faster. :-/
It's been pretty frustrating, overall. If you don't do Windows "Easy Transfer" just right, it'll either take forever or not get done right. I have over 10G of music to move, and about half that in documents.
So I spent the time that the computers were staring at each other sorting out the papers on my desk and scattered all over. I'm a little shocked by the quantity of scrapbook stuff I've got stashed away. I'm about ready to get the cubical thing I want for my desk area. I think.
I've got a headache now and I'm tired. The kitchen's a wreck, though that would only take 15 minutes to remedy.
