(no subject)
I miss chatting with people. I don't have a lot of time to do it, but still. Freeverse (remember her, ya'll?) IM'ed me with some tech support problems that her ISP wasn't helping her with last night. within half an hour I was able to figure out what was wrong and direct her to the solution (Norton AV was installed on her computer and somehow got messed - so it was throwing a tantrum and wasn't letting her view certain sites - I sent her to Symantec's support pages for removal instructions...her ISP was telling her it was IE's problem instead and got THAT all screwed up). So while she waited for the pages to print, we chatted a bit. She's always good for a chuckle or two.
I just dunno if I'm comfortable going back into a Palace-type situation. God, that was a great bit of software...and a wonderful community. But it had its dangers and I swam with the sharks and got bit a few times...
Anyway. I just miss the interaction with other adults.
I got a pretty good start on putting away Christmas today. I left the tree up and made sure it got lit.
I don't plan to do anything with lefse before the decorations are all downstairs. One thing at a time.
