I just finished reading "The Loves Of Gompachi And Komurasaki" story, in the "Stories of Old Japan" book I bought in the Met Museum in NY.
It isn't the most original love story or the most beautiful one, but I liked reading it (even if sometimes they are using old English. hmpf).
That book is interesting, for the moment. Even if, the chapter in which that story is written starts with about 5 pages about random topics; the author is describing and telling little stories all around, before really telling THE story of Gompachi and Komurasaki. But, it was interesting. Now, I feel smarter. >_<
Seriously, even if I was sometimes feeling like "when does Gampachi's story is starting?", I think that little (little?) intro was really interesting.
I think you can find that story while searching it on Google, so I won't type it here (would be long...). So, if you want to read it, just google "The Loves Of Gompachi And Komurasaki".
I'm curious about the rest of the book. I'll read it when I'll have more free time.
Now, now...reading gives me tiredness, apparently ^-^"

ps. in case you are wondering, I'm randomly using hiraganas to learn and know them properly. I know it looks stupid, but it's my way to learn things XD
