Day 21 - A photo of something that makes you happy.

The thing is, what makes me happiest is fandom and the way it's brought me some amazing new friends, and that's not really something I can take a photo of. I thought about all the material things I could take a photo of but my mind just kept wandering back to the warm fuzzy feelings I get when I'm gushing on MSN with friends about mutual interests.
I drew the above picture of myself (middle) surrounded by some of the friends the fandom has brought me very close to, as Homestuck-style fantrolls. Clockwise from bottom-left is Lilly (umiyuko), Shizuka (kiraqueen), Haze and Nate (naeriy). Of course there have been a lot more since I drew this picture and I'd really like to do another one, adding in all the people who make an otherwise rather tedious life bearable these days. Recently I've really learned to value my friends and it's not hard when I'm just surrounded by mind-numbingly AWESOME people ♥♥♥
In fact, this whole week has been a catch-up week. Tuesday night I went drinking with Slinky and Deer, Thursday night I had an impromptu meetup with mad_hatter__ (to Slinky and Deer's workplace so I got to see them again too), Saturday I went to the_metzler's birthday party where I also got to see annie_chan and umiyuko again, and tonight I just got home from seeing lucidlucifer13. SO MANY FRIENDS! It really makes for a good week!
All of this upcoming week at work though we are one person down in the office... and considering how hellishly busy it's been the last couple of weeks, I forsee a few grumpy posts ahead, nooo. FRIENDS AND JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE WILL HELP ME PREVAIL!
