Day 6 - A photo of an animal you’d love to keep as a pet.

I have kept rats before and I already know that I adore everything about them. My first rat, Socrates, was given to me by someone who had bought him and then had to move house and couldn't keep him--he was still young enough that he adjusted well to me and we became the best of friends. Ratties have short lifespans though :c and he did eventually pass away. After that I had two more but the intense heatwave we had a couple years ago in February killed them.
I didn't get more rats after that. I already had my cat Noodle to look after and as much as I really wanted new ratties I just didn't have the room for them, nor the time needed to play with them if I wanted them to adjust to me the way Socrates had (I used to take him out hidden in my clothes). However they have always been one of my favourite animals to keep as pets and I'd really love to get another one or two (probably one, since they then get far more attached to you).
I slept in the living room tonight which wasn't the best thing for my head and neck (ow ow ow) and I keep wondering why I do stupid shit like this lolol. At least I GOT sleep tonight. Time to watch like 8 more episodes of Oz, now.
