This weekend was a good weekend <3
Today was fun :D
Yesterday was mostly spent at the hairdresser's and also recovering from Friday night. Last night I went to the birthday party of one of my workmates, which was fun but I didn't stay long since I'd already been out at Amber the night before and wanted to get some sleep.
Today I met up with David for breakfast/early lunch! Some of you would remember him as the cute guy (so cute ;_;) from Sugar Station. Unfortunately I couldn't hang around as long as I wanted because I'd previously promised my father I was going to meet up with him as well, so we were really short on time. But we still managed to have a great meal at Cafe Cortile, which I'd decided I wanted to go to again after I'd led biases there via Twitter when she was lost in Melbourne city. It looks like they're no longer doing their lovely pancakes D: but there was plenty left on the menu that seemed absolutely delicious. I ended up ordering scrambled eggs mixed in with fetta and pesto on toast, mmm. I would recommend that place to anyone, seriously... the food is SO GOOD <3
It was nice just wandering around but unfortunately it was all over too soon >: I didn't really wanna go anywhere but I had promiiised my dad XD so I headed down to Docklands to meet my father and brothers. Although the day had been quite nice, it was colder and windier at the Docklands, right on the waterfront--and while we were having lunch (even though I was already full, ergh) it began to rain. Dad was nice enough to give me a lift home so I didn't have to fight my way through the rain and wind.
So I spent today in good company <3
Bought Se7en's 'Digital Bounce' album and got a poster with it. I haven't actually heard all of the album yet but I love the packaging/concept and I love Better Together, so... snapped it up. Didn't buy SHINee's Lucifer album yet because they only had version A and I want version B: The difference? (A) has the photoshoot pics in the booklet, whereas (B) has candid/behind the scenes photos instead--much cuter!
Ahh, I can hear the rain outside... I just hope it stops before tomorrow, I really don't want to start the working week having to head to work in the rain T_T
