Augh, the translation for series IV of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is really awful (so far). It's translated from Chinese manga and I'm guessing the person who did it did not have the best grasp on English. I can't take scenes very seriously if the text goes (exactly) like: 'That of course, the murder of my grandpa is so close, I can revenge for my grandpa'
...which I'm guessing is supposed to be 'My grandfather's murderer is so close... this is my chance to avenge him.'
It really kills the mood, and I hope it changes for the better soon D:
Speaking of JoJo's, these are currently the top five items I'm lusting after:
1. JoJo a GoGo Artbook set
2. The Medicos RAH series Jotaro Kujo
3. Silver Chariot fully jointed figure
4. Jotaro Kujo fully jointed figure
5. Noriyaki Kakyoin fully jointed figure
I'm pretty sure Mr. Rudd's generous self will be able to get me the artbook. It's gooorgeous; it's actually a box with three books in it, and I've already got some of the scans of the art inside... with this one as well, I'll have both artbooks of the JoJo's series.
Work today... was utterly hellish. E was away sick for the second day in a row and we were utterly overwhelmed with calls; it's a short week, so we essentially have to fit five days worth of work into four. With one person down, this makes the whole thing come down on us like an avalanche, and combine it with the fact that I'm feeling sick and... well, you've got a very unhappy Ryo. I was almost in tears; I'm so bad at handling stress, augh. If she's not in tomorrow.... *shakes fist*
Coming home makes it so much better though. I haven't done anything at all productive, and it feels great! Ahahah XD
