photographer was going to be
"The last time I checked you have 20-20 vision Tatsuya" replied the
said photographer named Ryo Nishikido " and besides it'll be fun. I
don't have to brief you on how I want to get things done."
Ueda just sighed and decided to just go with it. He and Ryo have been
working together although not intentionally on almost all projects
that he's been in. May it be for ads, for magazine shoots or anything
else in between. He was the model and he was his photographer.
Once make up was done, Ueda proceeded to the set and put his game face
on. No matter how much Ueda denies it, Ryo does know him best amongst
all the photographers he has worked with, he most appreciate Ryo's
work ethics and shooting style. But most importantly, he almost always
felt like he has a pseudo-lover in Ryo. The way the other can talk his
way into showing him his most intimate expressions, his genuine
expressions through his photos. Come to think of it, those pictures
never made it to the magazines...
"Are you done day dreaming princess?" said Ryo putting him out of his trance
"Yup. We can start now" Ueda replied sarcastically and earned a grin from Ryo
"Hope your day dreams include me"
"Of course you are, always"
Ryo on the other hand knew that all of their projects together were
not just mere coincidences, he made sure he was Ueda's photographer.
He went as far as knowing the other's schedule so he could fit it in
his. He fell in love with him, the first time they worked together.
Sure the other was still in his awkward face but when he's under his
lens, everything changes. From his point of view Ueda transforms from
this odd-ball to an person with confidence and elegance that could
circle the world 10x over. He also knew that having a romantic
relationship with him would be such a hassle since they're always on
the go and that it wouldn't turn out the way he wanted it to be. So
for now he just contented himself in seeing him under his lens
"Ryo are you done daydreaming?" asked Ueda returning the question Ryo
asked earlier
"Nice one princess" he replied with a smirk and continued on with the
rest of the shoot.
It was almost close to midnight when the whole ordeal was done, both
model and photographer felt exhausted and decided to take a breather
on the studio's lounge area
"You sure work your butt off huh?" said Ryo as he sprawled himself on the couch
"I should say the same. What's with all this themes anyway?"
"It's for my personal collection" Ryo teasingly replied
"You should have just asked for my personal services. I would have
gladly done it"
"Really?"
Ueda had to laugh out loud at Ryo's surprised reaction. A combination
of happy eyes and a perverted smile
"I might just take your offer Tatsuya" Ryo replied seriously all of the sudden
"What's with that tone Ryo? And should I be worried if you really did
take my offer?"
"I don't know if you should be worried though, but I have to tell you,
no camera's will be involved in the shoot, just you, me and my eyes"
and with that Ryo stood up and bid Ueda goodbye leaving the other with
a knowing smirk on his face.
