Program Analogues

You know.. I wish I could find good software sometimes. I just can't find comparable program analogues on differents systems.

You can't find Delicious Library except on Apple machines. You can't find most games, except on the PC (especially doujin-soft like Ragnarok Battle Offline or Melty Blood RE:Act). You can get a lot of the productivity ( Read more... )

However, I heard something about Mac's are now able to use Windows...or some model of the mac. Didn't interest me because I'm not into graphic design so I don't give a flying fuck about them. But I thought that was interesting because when I was playing UO, a lot of my friends wanted to play but couldn't because Mac's wouldn't support it. But, I figure with this windows capability, this could change. HOWEVER, I'm not sure if it'll be just as limiting as using a PC since you're using Windows. Not sure if Mac only software will work with the new windows mac....worth checking into if that's your thing.

Yeah, on the new Intel based macs, you can install windows, or you can also install stuff to _VIRTUALLY_ run windows (AKA: Slow as shit). The technology is now compatible, so it can be done ( ... )
