Still on hiatus, but....
First of all,
THE CUP IS BACK WHERE IT BELONGS BABY!! THE RED WINGS ARE THE 2008 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS, WOOHOO!!

Just a quick update on how I'm coping with my personal life...
1) Now that hockey season is over, I'm gonna go into post-season depression for a little while.
Hopefully I'll get over it soon once I start taking guitar lessons. Like, FINALLY. "Learning the guitar" has always been an item on my to-do wishlist, but a) I never had a guitar, b) I didn't know anybody who could teach me, and c) I couldn't be bothered to go take lessons from strangers. So now that I've gotten back in touch with my best friend, who's been playing the guitar since high school, excuses b) and c) can be scratched off. This weekend he'll help me pick out an electric guitar, and then we can start jamming to some L'Arc~en~Ciel tunes. YEAH.
2) A big THANK YOU to everybody who sent me birthday wishes, via phone, email, snail mail, LJ, and/or on MSN. Although I didn't reply to them, I read every one of them. And I just wanted to say, I love every one of you. I hope I'm still loved. That 7 o'clock birthday morning call from WAY across the globe was insane. I sounded sexy didn't I? And I must say, I totally went WTF when I saw the Mom's card from another certain someone. Crazy, but I'll remember you forever for that.
I actually went out and celebrated my birthday this year. Went for some good food, drank quite a bit, and then went to sing some karaoke. It's been a while since I've done anything for my birthday, but only coz it's a very special year this year. There's actually someone I wanna celebrate my birthday with this year.
3) Supervisor going on maternity leave for a month starting next week. SWEEEEEET. Just that alone deserves to be mentioned in this post.
4) Parents leaving for 1.5 months to HK at the end of June. I'M GONNA HAVE THE WHOLE HOUSE TO MYSELF. :D Partaaaaaay. But it also means that I'll have to get everything done myself...damn.
5) The fangirl in me pretty much died off for the past month. Haven't fangirled over anything but the Red Wings and L'Arc~en~Ciel... When was the last time I saw an episode of SMAPxSMAP? Damn I dun even remember. I AM all caught up with my drama series though. :D
6) My favourite past-time at home as of recent is practising on the flute (yeah I decided to take it up again after having stopped for 13 years), reading novels, and watching random episodes of Family Guy online. And of course sleeping...
7) Still a lot of question marks floating in the air regarding my half-existing love life...
