Happiness is....holidays + fandom.
F----inally, I get a longer break from work.
Well, quite long actually, considering most people only get certain days off for the Christmas holidays.
I get the entire week off next week, plus the 2 weekends attached, so I get 10 days off altogether.
My boss is going out of town with her husband, so it's not like I ASKED for it.
The thought of all the follow-up work after the break is a bit horrifying though.
I finally got the chance to listen to Gackt-sama's new album.
Well. I don't know if I should even call it an album.
9 songs in total, of which 1 is instrumental, 6 are old songs, and 2 are covers.
I kind of understand why some fans are a bit unhappy about the release, but as long as Gackt's singing I'm not gonna complain.
Obviously I look forward to hearing new work of HIS OWN, but with S.K.I.N and whatnot, I guess he just didn't have enough time.
I like the 2 covers actually. I've never heard the original version, but damn Gackt sounds so amazing in Meguriai.
I regret buying edition A though. Now that I come to think of it, having narrations during the songs will just ruin it, especially since I'm not much of a Gundam fan to begin with.
Should have just bought the regular edition, without the Gundam-ish narrations.
And for fellow Gackt lovers, THIS photoshoot will kill brain.

It feels like it's been forever since Laruku's last live performance. I've been so deprived.
He was actually WIGGLING. His dorkiness amuses me greatly. (Sometimes I can't believe that this dork wrote heavy songs like MADE IN HEAVEN and MIDNIGHT CELEBRATION.)

Geezus. hyde-sama sounded so amazing during the MSSP live, probably his best HX performance so far...?
The hair still bothers me a bit though. I'm not too keen on his obaasan perm.
yukki's hair looked good though, wow. Much better than his previous cut. ♥
And tetsu looks...well...pink...and good.

Christmas Night is apparently too difficult of a song for the almighty SMAP.
They sounded a lot better this time compared with that first performance on FNS, but still...weak.
Goro-goro and Tsuyopon sounded not as terrible, and Takuya just couldn't quite reach those notes.
Nobody did actually. It's a lovely song to listen to, but it makes me cringe when I hear people go off-key. Call me anal if you will.
On the other hand, they seem to have perfected Dangan Fighter.
Except Goro-goro STILL dances funny. It's been so many years and he still dances like a robot.
And I'm glad they unofficially confirmed next year's summer tour. Now I have ANOTHER reason, besides Hyde's solo tour, to go to Japan next August/September.

Errr. Since when did Koyama dye his hair back to "natural colour"? Did this happen just recently, or am I totally out of it?

Watching that performance made me a bit dizzy. The cameraman should stop jumping up and down with the audience.

I personally prefer RyOhkura. *nods* However, I didn't get any.
Instead I got some YokoRyo, which is almost just as good.
