Ryo: 2007.06.20 Janiben
A thought suddenly struck me after seeing the screencaps of this week's Janiben.
I think I prefer a heterosexual Nishikido Ryo. One who likes to talk about oppai and admits to being a sukebe.
Before, I'd always liked talking about RyOhkura & RyoPi love/ghei-ness, even though I know they're all really as straight as can be.
However, those Janiben screencaps somehow made me feel...grossed out.
Not because I'm homophobic, coz I'm not.
Seeing Gackt x You (no, not YOU, silly) fanservice and seeing You-kun stick his face in Gackt's crotch doesn't bother me the slightest.
And hyde x tetsu. I simply wish they were really gay, period.
But the sight of Ryo looking like he's getting a you-know-what is just...disturbing.
I can't exactly explain why I feel disturbed... I just...do.

I was just watching Proposal Daisakusen ep 9 earlier tonight and couldn't help but think how slow the tempo has become.
Or shall I just say "boring", and get chased down the street by angry Yamapi fangirls?
Don't get me wrong. No matter how much I seem like I'm not a Pi fan, I am. *laughs*
I've been told several times that I appear to be more anti-Pi than pro-Pi.
A---nyway. I thought it started out really fun, I would really enjoy the whole 45 minutes of every episode.
Up until maybe ep 6 or ep 7, it just got kind of repetitive and slow.
I mean, c'mon. Realistically, I'm sure if he really liked her THAT much he would've found a chance to confess to her back in high school or in university.
Perhaps I have a low boredom threshold, and anything that doesn't attract and maintain my attention for more than 10 minutes will ultimately be deemed as a failure by me.
Oh university. How did I manage to pull through?
And I suppose it's the main reason why it took me this long to watch ep 9...but I really don't think I should give up, simply coz I only have 2 more episodes to go.
Surprisingly enough though, I am all up-to-date with Tokkyu Tanaka San Go. :D
I started out thinking TokkyuTana would be really dumb, but in the end I think I enjoy this more than PuroDai...

Another dorama series that put me to sleep: Kikujirou to Saki 2.
Well, at least the first few episodes, where Takashi appeared for approx. 2 minutes every episode.
...which means I sat through the remaining 42-43 minutes thinking over and over again when he'll appear.
*groans in pain*
Thank gawd he appeared way more in the last half of the series...
And to think that KikuSaki is coming out with a 3rd part to the series in July...
And from what I've read, seems like there'll be more 2-minute appearances. *groans some more*

Kimura Takuya: A victim of school violence??
Yeah, that's what I saw in the Chinese paper today.
Something about Takuya's mom releasing her own autobiography of some sort, and in there she mentions that Takuya used to get picked on and got into fights back in high school, because he was a Johnnys.
He'd come home with mud stains on his uniform, loose buttons, and complained about not wanting to go to school.
I dunno how true this is, but I really wouldn't be all that surprised even if it did happen.
And it makes me wonder if things like this happened or still happen to the other Johnnys...

It's been a while since his last live perf; his lives are always so entertaining to watch. ♥
