Summary: Kame and Jin were in a relationship for years, when Jin makes a mistake will Kame be able to move on.

The next day, Kame woke up before Pi and decided to cook breakfast for the two of them. He hummed softly to himself as he began cooking the eggs in a pan and cooked the rice in the rice cooker. They were trying to figure out a routine to make the adjustment easier on both of them, yet both knew that it would take time. Pi had yet to wake up, so Kame plated the dish and knocked on his bedroom door yet when he did, there was no response so he opened the door to see Pi sprawled out on his bed in a cocoon of covers still fast asleep. Kame set the dish down on the nightstand and gently shook his shoulders, initially he tried doing it gently, but when Pi just rolled over, he took a more aggressive approach and jumped on the bed straddling Pi’s waist and in the process disheveling the covers. Though Kame’s shaking didn’t wake Pi up, the scream that he cried when he saw Pi’s exposed member definitely did.
After Pi rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, he saw Kame looking at him horrified with his eyes bulging and a hand clasped over his mouth. Pi looked down to see what Kame was so shocked by, and when he saw that his member was exposed, for a moment he was surprised, but then, taking advantage of the situation he quipped, “See something you like?”
Kame finally found his voice and averted his eyes his cheeks were flushed and the embarrassment was spreading downward to his neck and ears, “Why the hell do you sleep naked?”
“Why the hell do you enter someone’s room when they are sleeping?” Pi retorted, smiling at Kame’s embarrassment to seeing him naked. “Besides it’s not like you haven’t seen it before?” Pi said making Kame remember the night that they slept together, or rather the aftermath since he still couldn’t actually remember having sex with Pi.
“It’s not like I remember it though.” After Kame said it, the tone immediately darkened and Kame regretted what he said. He looked over to Pi’s sour face and Pi reached over to pull the covers over his exposed privates.
“S-sorry.” Kame apologized, though he wasn’t exactly sure what for, and Pi nodded excusing himself to go change. When Kame left Pi’s bedroom and shut the door, he slid to the ground on the other side. I saw my best friend’s penis, he thought and for a moment digested the fact that he had slept with Pi. How the hell did that even fit in me? Kame wondered as he recalled the size that he had just seen, it was even bigger than Jin’s.
After Pi had gotten dressed, he sat at the kitchen table across from Kame to eat, but there wasn’t much to say. Kame apparently found his food more interesting than trying to stir up conversation, and Pi thought about Kame’s reaction.
“It wasn’t that bad.” Pi said. “Just forget it even happened.” He brushed it off as though the encounter was nothing, but the fact that Kame was horrified by seeing him naked deepened the hole of doubt that was consuming Pi, maybe it was good that Kame forgot about them having sex or he might be permanently scarred.
Little did he know that across the table, Kame was not scarred or horrified, but rather every time he closed his eyes the image would appear in his mind. Shit. What was more concerning to him was that he was thinking of his best friend naked. It was only because I was surprised. Kame justified to himself, but he had seen his band mates naked countless times and he had never had this reaction.
Pi was already finished, though Kame had barely ate and left, agitated by Kame’s reaction. Was my body really so off-putting to him? Even when Kame went to work, he was still in a daze and the other members noticed. During a break, Ueda cornered him and coaxed what was bothering him out of Kame. “I saw Pi naked, accidentally.” Kame said.
“You’ve seen us naked,” Ueda said, confused as to where Kame was finding a problem in this scenario.
“But,” Kame lowered his voice, “I slept with him.” Ueda uttered a scream before Kame was able to silence him covering his mouth.
“When? How? Why?” Ueda stuttered. He had not expected to hear what Kame just said.
“A few nights ago, I was drunk and thought he was Jin.” Kame hissed.
“Damn.” Ueda muttered.
“And I think I reacted badly this morning and Pi’s hurt.” Kame continued.
“Well, if you freaked out then he might think that you were appalled by him.” Ueda mused. “You should explain it to him.” Kame nodded knowing that what Ueda said had some truth to it.
When he returned home, Kame waited until Pi got in the door to say something. “I didn’t mean to offend you earlier today. I wasn’t upset about the way you looked, I was just taken aback.”
Pi shrugged and smiled his goofy grin at him and Kame thanked God that his friend was so easygoing and easily forgiving. “It’s okay. I guess anyone would be shocked by my manliness.” Pi joked and Kame rolled his eyes although there was some truth to what Pi said. They were interrupted when Pi’s handphone rang and Kame stepped aside so he could have some privacy.
“I’m coming I just need to get changed and I’ll be right there.” Pi said agitatedly into the phone.
He ducked into his bedroom and emerged wearing a pair of dark jeans and a black button down top. “What do you think?” He asked Kame as he spun around.
“You look fine.” Kame said. “What’s the occasion?”
“I have a goukon with Ryo and some of his Osakan friends, so don’t wait up.” Pi winked as he left, and as Kame waved goodbye he felt a feeling in his chest that he couldn’t put a finger on. He had felt it before, but it was an unidentifiable tightness in his chest that made him wonder what was up with him.
