big deal?
Ok so what is the big deal with Donnie Darko? I watched the movie for the first time tonight. But I found it very predictable. Rocky had already seen it and he was like... "how do you keep guessing the plot? This movie is supposed to be crazy and unpredictable. Wait. Lauren do you take drugs and see bunnies?"
Rocky is at least fun to see a movie with.
I still dont get it though. I mean its just time travel. I keep wondering why he picked the moment he picked to go back to. I was kinda happy he got laid at least before he died. Sometime early on in the movie I leaned over to Rocky and said, "Is it wrong that I like men who talk to imaginary friends?" I thought he was a revolutionary. I thought the therapist was funny too. Imagine what Hawking's shrink would say? Or any great person in history. What would they say about Hitler or Osama or Marie Curie?
I still dont get it though.
Maybe I have seen one too many weird movies to actually be freaked out about stuff like this.

God I am wide awake, and there is no one aim. Well it is 2am texas time. 2am on a saturday night I should be getting drunk or laid. I think its finally stopped raining, maybe I will go for a run.
I could watch another movie but all I got is japanese horror movies and I really dont want to go to sleep later with images of ghosts and dead bodies and the like floating around in my head with bunnies and body vectors/spears.
That would even be too weird for me?
