Am I the only person who thoroughly enjoyed the waters of mars?
I really liked all the varying personalities of the characters. They were believable, realistic characters. Well acted, too. The water thing freaked me out well enough. The Doctor was a bit too "should I or shouldn't I", though, but I loved the visual and audial composition of the bit where he's walking away from the base and all he can hear are them dying. I also really liked the fact that he failed, and turned a bit assholeish near the end..I just like episodes that show that the Doctor really is flawed, and even though he's a Time Lord he's not a Time God. It sort of shows that his personality /can/ change over time, not just with the reincarnations... it was a new unexplored element of the Doctor. I think I would love to roleplay a really merciless AU!Doctor, actually...
