So, I've been using the last name Nicols as my stage name for years.  It is an old family name pronounced Nicol (the "s" is silent -- it's French) but of course everyone says Nickels instead of Nicole -- unless they've actually heard of the store with the same spelling but then again I don't hang with a lot of Europeans so most haven't.  Hellllooooo tangent.

So I'm starting to think maybe I should drop the "s".  Comments?  Suggestions?  Deafing silence?  hrm?
