Not much to say today, just been busy lately. Posting here 'cause I'm in the mood, is saturday and I don't have go out for once in weeks, whee for lazy time! XD
For the record, at the end I had to format Simón (my laptop) T_T and used 13 DVDs just for backup, not the mention the boring process that is to copy the files, install the programs and customize your computer again *sighs* Also I get a scolding from my parents for losing my... retainer? (how do you say that in English?) well, one of those plastic-ish things that the orthodontist gives you after taking away the brackets. I lost one and is expensive... =_=
Anyway, been out with friends I had not seen in ages too, was pretty fun and nostalgic ^^
Watched UP, what a sweet and nice movie! :D
Wanna watch Transformers 2 just for the sake of it.
Watched Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince too, and I'll summarize it with this: UTTERLY DISAPPOINTMENT. This is when I'll start to rant so beware.
No take offense with this, is just my opinion: Really folks, it SUCKED BIG TIME. It was horrible, bad, a waste of money, it's as if they had spit in the book and rip it in pieces. From 1 to 10, I'd give it a 4 (and I'm being generous), 'cause it made me laugh with some scenes and some visual effects were good but just that. I understand is impossible to make an accurate and full portraying of the book but in my opinion, they sucked doing the adaptation from the book to the movie, the script totally FAILED, not the mention the poor job the director did ¬_¬ The actors too are at fault, in a lot of scenes they lacked an appropiate characterization of their characters and they lacked passion.
Most of the crucial and important scenes of the book were not include in the movie (for example the white funeral, the big battle at Hogwarts, the H&G kiss in the common room after winning the Quidditch cup, Bill's attack, Rufus Scrimgeour, among others) and if they indeed were include, it was poorly do it, they lacked the intense feelings and circumstances portrayed on the book and/or they were horrible; for example the Unbreakable Vow, Dumbledore's dead, Severus' scape from Hogwarts and his confrontation with Harry, the Sectumsempra scene, the Half-Blood Prince story and importance along the movie (when it was supposed to be a central topic), Harry and Ginny's relationship (that it was practically nonexistent for God's sake, they weren't even boyfriends and were totally OOC in the way the acted with each other in comparison with what Rowling portrays in the book), and a lot more =_=
Synthesis, UGGH!!!!.
I'll stick with the books, as always, thank you very much.
Well then, hope you guys enjoy the weekend (y este lunes es festivo, yipeey! XD) :D
