rooftop pool: Sunday morning

Ryn had been on the roof since before sunrise, it had been the first week in ages since she had listened to it rising. She padded slowly back and forth in the water as she watched the sun going higher in the air. She moved back to the edge of the pool, her lips just above the water line as she smiled at George who had just broken the surface. "My own little mermaid." Ryn said smiling at her, she was ready to dive under the water and pull George under when she least expected it.
