Another of my favorite Add-Ons: Hyperwords.
Highlight any word on a web page, such as someone's entry on your LJ, and right click. The usual Menu comes up and one of your choices will be Hyperwords. According to which options you have listed, a second Menu comes up and you can click on "Search"; "Reference"; "Share" or any of the other choices you have set it to display.
It is much easier than Highlighting, copying, opening a separate window or tab, pasting, etc... :o)
