One upon a time there was a forest that seemed to stretch to the end of the horizon. This forest was known as Rosewood Forest. Deep in the forest there was a very old oak, and in this oak tree lived a young raccon by the name of Bandit.
"Hey Bandit, are you up there?", yelled Tad the frog.
"Yeah I'm here," replied Bandit,"come on up if you want."
"Ok, I,ll be up in just a second." Tad began to hop up the long route to the small hole close to the top of the tree. "Alright, I'm here."
"Ok."
The two youngsters sat around in the hole talking about the upcoming week.
"So, are you really gonna leave this time Bandit?", inquired Tad.
"Yes, I actually gonna leave. You know its been 5 years since I came here to Rosewood Forest, and I still have not found anything out about my family." With that statement Bandit seemed to drift off into a deep thought.
After a few moments of silence Tad spoke. "Do you think that the you mad a mistake with the picture?"
"Maybe." Bandit walked over to a shelf with a small collections of books on it. He began to search through the collection until he finally pulled out a small red book with leather binding. Bandit opened up the book and began to flip through the pages. About half way through the book he stopped and pulled out a small picture, the picture was wrinkled and tinted yellow with age. Bandit looked very hard at the family portrayed on the picture, there was two adult raccons three children and one small babay.
"Is that you?", Tad asked as he pointed at the small baby raccoon wrapped in a blue blanket.
"Yeah, thats me." Bandit replied. Then Bandit flipped over the picture to reveal a message on the back that read, 'Family photo at R.W. '. "But what else could this mean, I have thought long and hard and still I have not been able to come up with anything."
"You know what Bandit, we should go talk to Old Hoot. He's about the only animal living here now that has been outside of Rosewood Forest. If anyone could give you an answer it would be him."
"Hey, thats a good idea. I can't believe i haven't thought about that before. Lets go!"
Bandit and Tad sprinted out of the small hole in the tree, down the long path and towards Old Hoot's nest near the edge of the drinking pond.
