On randomness and little gnats
::bounces:: Jimmy sent me a text saying he might have good computer news for me. On questioning, he sent me another message saying that he might have an entire computer for me sans video card but he wouldn't know for sure until this weekend. Seriously, when I'm thinking about giving him a ton of money to make me a decent computer or just shelling out money for a decent video card (plus whatever procurement fee I can force him to accept), I'm all about that idea. I'm trying not to think about it too much for now.
Other news...first organic chem and evolutions tests out of the way. I was unamused but relatively unsurprised. Low B range...I'm looking forward to improving. Chem lab is still going awesome - Heidi and I have 100% right now. I think this second lab report might not be a 100%er, but I guess time will tell. I'm really beginning to get to know some people in my lab class. Vijay and Ben are lab partners and the pair Heidi and I work with the most. Heidi and I have very similar lab views, which is awesome (there's nothing worse than working with a lab partner who just wants to get done when you want to do it properly) and we even seem to like doing some of the same things outside of school. We're tentatively planning a "pizza and beer" night somewhere. I'm excited about that a little out of proportion. And Ben, Vijay and I eat lunch together a couple times a week. Vijay is always breaking stuff in lab - generally right before they collect their samples. He's so funny...he reminds me a little bit of Clair's boyfriend Jess. Vijay likes to call people "big bear". So strange. And Ben is just Ben - he doesn't really remind me of anyone. I enjoy his company a lot though especially when I'm feeling all nerdy gamer. ::grins::
I might go to NY in November. My grandparents are coming out in October. Erica *needs* to come visit me in December or January. And I'd like to visit with dad either here or there at some point as well.
None of is really set in stone though, except for my grandparents. Sigh.
I want to play WoW. ::rubs hands:: Such a bad idea. So bad, so bad, so so so very bad....
