(no subject)
Yesterday was to the extreme! I went to my 3pm Sorority Meeting thinking not much of it, but of course the worse came... We've been told b/c of our numbers & the past 5 yrs of not gaining anywhere.. meaning stayin as a small group that the Nationals decided/voted upon a decision: At the end of this semester everyone is becoming Alumni status! It seems the Nationals decided they wanted to reorganize our group to where they want to have a brand new/fresh start on things. They are taking a local group who has interest in becoming a national sorority & adding others who aren't greek to becoming "us". They are taking our name & our status of active sisters in my opinion.. away from us. Yes- we're still apart of our sorority but taking us away from being active members is harsh.. esp to those in the group who are only sophomores & have more years to come at FSU. This is pretty much summed up as "Bullsh*T" :*( Me just wishing this is all just a bad dream/nightmare & that I could awake from it and things would be back to normal!
This semester already started out horrible.. & of course this is my Senior Yr! Today- Got my textbooks so I shall be ready when I start my classes tomorrow. The rest of my day today is me attempting to write one of my papers for my winter class.. thank goodness all are due at the end of Feb. Also now debating if I want to go home this weekend or have someone come up here.. or even be here by myself possibly.. we'll see!
