Getting High
I learned awhile ago that getting high is an important thing in this world. Some of you might think immediately that I'm advocating drug use, but please consider what I'm saying for a moment. Getting high can mean all sorts of things, like being happy for instance. High on life. People say this all the time. High on life is another way to say happy.
Another thing about getting high is that we all know what happens after awhile of being high... you come down! Everyone knows theres a comedown. You can't avoid that. Well lets replace those words again. After awhile of being happy, you become sad. Everyone knows this. Well getting high is not such a bad thing, considering you are probably sad right now, or maybe you're high right now. You know you want to get high or stay high. Either way, being high beats coming down.
Let us cut to the chase here. I'm high as fuck right now. Things are great. Things are strange. Strange would be a word to describe the sense of doubt I have. Maybe this doesn't seem appropriate. Maybe this all doesn't add up correctly. I mean, I am high right? But I was looking for this high. Maybe this high was looking for me.
Surely, I will come down. But right now, being high is all there is. And I must say I'm happy.
