[After one hell of a topsy-turvy week, Rygdea wanted to sit down and relax. No more running around and intel gathering for him. This soldier is going on inactive duty for a few days. He still has yet to wrap his mind around half of the information he found. In truth, he's feeling a tad overwhelmed and that's why he decided to go fishing today

[Terra's wandering about on the lakeshore, when she spots someone up ahead. Curious but a little cautious as well, she pauses to observe for a moment before continuing to head in that direction. Her plan isn't to pester him, per se, but it feels rude not to acknowledge him upon approaching, and so she waves a little.]

[Rygdea hadn't expected to see anyone out here by the lake, but he didn't mind the company. He was pretty sure that nothing could drag Raines' ass out here to the woods, so he decided to just get used to fishing and hiking alone.

Waving in return to the green haired girl, Rygdea wondered if green was the color of the season or something. She's the second girl sporting that hair color.]

[Terra pauses a few paces away, nodding with a small smile.]

Having much luck with the fish?

[rygdea]

[Glancing away from the girl once she mentioned the fish, Rygdea's gaze settled on the lake again.]

Pretty good luck so far, I certainly can't complain.

[He turned to face her.]

Out for a stroll or something, missy? You don't look like the fishin' type.

[She shrugs.]

My name's Terra..and I'm not, but I wanted to take a walk.

[She peers at him a little curiously.]

You're new, aren't you?

Nice to meetcha, Terra. I'm Rygdea, and there's nothing wrong about taking a stroll or two. Just mindful of some of the critters lurkin' around here.

[One such critter being an enormous wolf who hates humans.]

Hm? Is it that easy to tell? Yeah, I'm one of the new guys.

[She smiles at that, nodding.]

When you live in a small town like this for so long, any new face stands out.

And...'critters'? What do you mean? I was sure that there weren't any real monsters in the area....

[Luceti was most certainly a small town, barely even the size of Bodhum and that was one of the smaller towns on Cocoon.]

I wouldn't be so sure of that if I was you. Just the other day I met a very irritable wolf. It talked to me.

...wolf? Oh. You must mean Moro.

[Terra winces.]

She isn't as hostile as some, most of the time, but as you might have guessed, she really doesn't like humans.

[rygdea]

Yeah! That's the one. She's big old thing. Almost as big as a house!

[He highly doubts he'll ever run into that thing again, but just in case he'll bring his gun with him for now on.]

I kind of figured that much, since she was givin' me the stank eye the entire time I was hanging out here. I hope she's the only uptight critter around here.

[She tugs the end of her ponytail a little.]

...I did meet a really unfriendly girl at the forest's edge before, but I didn't get her name. I don't even know if she's still here.

Little girls are no worries, big wolves are.

[He paused momentarily on he felt something tug on the end of the line.]

Hang on a minute, I think I got something!

I wouldn't be too sure about that. She--

[And Terra pauses abruptly, letting Rygdea concentrate on his catch.]

[rygdea]

[Trying his best to reel the fish in, all of Rygdea's efforts paid off once he hauled a big trout out of the water.]

Whooo! Look at this fella!

[Terra takes a step back, though not put off by the site. After all, fishing and hunting sometimes had to happen back home.]

That's a good catch. How long have you been at this?

[rygdea]

Long enough! Probably a year tops since I taken up this hobby.

[Hoisting the fish out of the water took some effort, but he managed to get it on to shore with relative ease. Rygdea was just about to reach for his knife to carve it open until he swore he heard the fish murmur something.]
